Loud creaks could be heard from Home, waking up Wally. Wally sat up from his soft bed and rubbed his sleepy eyes, "what is it Home?" Wally asked, wrapping a robe around his body, Home had creaked once more, making Wally's eyes widen, "are you sure?" Wally asked, another creak.
Wally rushed out the door and looked around, he heard it, a scream. But not just any kind of scream. A baby's scream.
Wally rushed towards it and fought through bushes and branches in his path, there he found you. A baby In a dirty old basket, he picked up the basket and stared at you, taking in your soft features. Your crying had calmed down once you had saw another living being in front of you. You babbled before crying once again. Maybe you were hungry? Or scared? Wally looked around to see where specifically you came from, but he saw nothing. Without a second thought he turned around and took you back home.
Wally was now in his room holding you in his arms, he was feeding you with the correct baby stuff. He had took a quick last minute trip to Howdy's to receive what he needed. Of course Howdy was willing to help and even said he'll put in an order for more baby stuff such as clothes, food, important accessories etc... Howdy did question where Wally got the baby from and after Wally explained, Howdy felt pity on you.
You were wrapped up in a tight blanket as your E/C eyes stared at him. He loves you. How? He just saw you and immediately felt like he needed to take responsibility of you. To farther you. He didn't know why. But he likes it. Another reason to be alive.
In the morning Wally had taken you to Poppy's and then visited Frank to get some advice. They gave the most information they could. The rest of the neighbours met you, it wasn't until one of the neighbours asked a question that made Wally think of himself as an idiot:
"Awe isn't she a cutie~ what's her name?" Julie asked as she tried to take her finger away from you, but you held a death grip on her. Wally froze, realising he had yet to give you a name. "How about... Y/N?" Wally asked, looking down at you almost like you understood, you smiled and kicked your legs, making him smile and kiss your head, "her name is Y/N." Wally calmly answered.
