𝟒. "𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐲"

Cassie felt sick over the fact that she had seen Lucius. She knew that he was lurking around. She knew it scared her.

Especially she knew what he was capable of and she knew how he had treated her in the past. And she didn't know what to do.

Cassie was scared and she knew what he'd do if he caught her running off from him.

Cassie sat in her chambers and sighed. She knew how terrible that she felt. She hadn't been sleeping. She knew all that had happened was getting to her.

She knew that she didn't know how much more of it that she could deal with.

She got dressed and headed down to the great hall as she saw Severus. She sighed as she looked to him. "Whatever it is, I don't want to fight with you," Cassie said.

Severus  looked to her and smiled. "Neither do I Cassie. Look I know what Lucius is like. I how scared that you must be to run. I know what has happened in the past. But I am not going to let Lucius hurt you. I can see that you're scared," he said.

Cassie looked to him. She nodded and smiled. "Thank you Severus. It means a lot. I didn't know what I was getting into when it came to Lucius. But I am thankful that you're here for me," she said as he looked to her and smiled.

Severus knew all that had happened in the past. And how it wasn't easy.

He knew all that had happened. But he knew that he still cared for Cassie.

Cassie walked into Madeline's classroom. She saw her with Remus. She cleared her throat as she saw them making out. "I hope I'm not interrupting," she said as she looked to her sister.

Madeline looked to her. She rolled her eyes. "Remus was just going," she said as Remus smiled.

Cassie watched as he walked out before she turned to Madeline and smirked. "So. What's going on there?" She asked.

"Nothing."

"How's the sex?" Cassie asked.

Madeline looked to her. "Sensational. Are you okay? I spoke to Severus. And he told me that Lucius was at the school. He shouldn't be able to walk in. Parent or not."

"I'm shaken. But I'm okay. All of this is getting to me. I hate it. I don't want it to be like this. Always scared. I just have to try and get over my fear of him," Cassie told her.

"It will be okay," Madeline said.

Cassie walked down the hall. She saw a familiar blonde and frowned. She knew that she couldn't run from him forever. But she knew that she also couldn't deal with him.

She headed back to her chambers. She could feel the anxiety in her chest as she walked down the hallways. She was inside and went to close the door as a cane stopped her.

She looked up and swallowed the lump in her throat. "Hello Cassidy. You think that you can run from me?" Lucius said as Cassie looked to him in fear.

She was scared. But would she let him get to her once again?
