Blood. Blood was everywhere.

I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to. Miruzu kept chanting in her head like it was a mantra. Her hands were shaking, quivering as she watched her shadows slowly fall back into place and her parents' body fall into the ground. She didn't scream. She only wanted to be alone, she clearly told her parents that--- but of course, they would never listen. Thinking that what they think is the only thing right.

She swallowed once.

Twice.

And then, she ran.

She stood outside the building that had large letters plastered on it. UA. She was enrolled in the 1-A Hero Course. She was highly recommended by the Hero Commission, thus, she never had to do the Entrance Exam where they would see who deserves to be in the Hero Course or not, she only took a written exam and proved that she did not only has a smart quirk but she also has wits under her sleeve. She enrolled late, only days late, so she wasn't really behind the curriculum.

She was starting to get annoyed by the media outside of school. Before she could even get inside, she had heard a loud thud from behind her. She looked back and saw the barricade all over the walls and gate of the school. Oh? Interesting. She had thought.

She wasn't really comfortable by the fact that she was wearing a skirt, she wanted to wear pants but the school doesn't allow gender neutral uniforms but it was a good thing that they were allowed to wear tights below their skirts. As she walked down the halls she only kept her hair down, listening to the voices of her shadows, trying to calm them down in her mind, telling them not to bother her this early. She stopped in front of a door, a tall one. She opened the door and she was greeted by classmates who have easily made friends with one another.

As the door opened everyone stopped on what they were talking or doing. They all stared at her and she could feel the shadows coming out of her but she calmed them down, making them heel. She raised a hand and brushed her hair out of the way so they could see them clearly. They all stared at her with curiosity. She had noticed one thing as her eyes roamed around the room, it was the ruby-like blood eyes that stared at her in curiosity but at the same time, it was analysing her. Some looked away and continued talking with their chatmates in hushed voices.

"Hello there!" A girl had greeted her. Her skin was pink and she had horns. Miruzu nodded towards her as a sign of greeting. "What's your name? I didn't see you at the Entrance Exams, and are you a transferee? Were you here by recommendation? Your hair is so cool! Platinum blonde! And your eyes, they're pretty!" The girl continued with excitement. Mirizu wasn't used to this kind of interaction, usually, she wouldn't need to reply as it is useless.

"You think so?" She muttered. The girl nodded enthusiastically. "Tokuda Miruzu" She introduced herself and as she did, the girl had forgotten that she didn't introduce yet and so, she told her name. Mina Ashido. "And yes, I enrolled late," she continued.

"What's your quirk?" She asked Miruzu and before she could answer, she explained her own quirk to her that she could release some acid and Miruzu slowly nodded, so that's why her name's Ashido. She thought. "Sorry, I'm talkative aren't I?" She smiled sheepishly.

"About my quirk," Miruzu started, "You'll just get to see it later on," She said and smiled as she went to her assigned desk and realised that she was beside Shoto. Once she had sat on her desk, she nodded towards Shoto as a greeting and Shoto nodded back. They were both here by recommendation, hers was sponsored and his was by his father.
