Chapter 2

Michael see the person shocked 😲. The person see Michael a bit annoyed and ask

Person - What the hell are you doing here Jackson?

Michael - My house is across yours.... My mother made a pie for you guys (showing the pie)

Person - Thanks for the pie (taking the box) I have some work to do so see you at school

Michael - Prince thanks for accepting the pie (smiling ☺)

Prince see him confused 😕. Michael say

Michael - Not all people accept our pie or anything we do as you know

Prince can easily understand his meaning as it has happened with his family too and he say

Prince - Thanks for the pie again but this does not mean that we are friends or anything

Michael just nodes his head and went back to his house and went to his room to do his homeworks. At night, while having dinner, Kate ask

Katherine - Did you find out who is our neighbour? (seeing Michael)

Michael - It is the new kid from my school. His name is Prince Nelson. We both have same classes

Marlon - I heard that his parents separated and he is staying with his dad unwillingly because he wanted to stay with his mom and younger sister

Kate - Poor kid.... You kids behave good to that kid (sternly and strictly)

Jackson siblings - Ok mom (nodes their heads)

The next day at school, Michael was taking his books from his locker for his classes. Prince comes to Michael and Michael see him and Prince say

Prince - Thanks for the pie again and it was delicious. Your mom saved the night last night

Michael see Prince confused 😕 and Prince say

Prince - My dad did not make it home last night

Michael - Glad you liked the pie (smiling 😀)

Prince went to the class. Eddie and Chris join Michael and Chris qek69

Chris - What he was doing here?

Michael - Prince stays across my house. Mom made a pie

Eddie - Just be careful with him

Michael - Did you finish the essay Mr. Stone gave us?

Chris - Na (shakes his head)

Eddie - We will do it together as always

Chris - Let us go before Mrs. Jones comes to the class early

At lunch break, Eddie sigh heavily seeing his History test paper and say

Eddie - My parents are going to kill me for getting a D- again in history

Chris - Same here too.... My parents will not let me go out until I get better mark on this subject.... Hey guys do you know that they are picking players for the basketball team? (seeing Michael and Eddie curiously)

Eddie - I'm surely going to add my name in it (excitedly)

Chris - Michael why don't you try for it (seeing Michael)

Eddie - Yeah you play good and you have good height too

Michael - I am not into it and I have tuitions from next week

Chris - Give it a try for fun

Michael - Fine (annoyed tone) but more than this I won't do anything you guys say (firmly)

Eddie - When's the tryouts? (seeing Chris)

Chris - Next week on Wednesday after school at the gym class

At English class, Michael felt like someone was watching him but whenever he looked around he could not see who it was. At evening, in the Jackson house, Michael went to his mom and ask

Michael - Mom can I stay at Chris house tonight?

Katherine - It is school week

Michael - I will go to school tomorrow from his house

Kate - Ask your father, if he is okay with it then you can go

Michael - Mom, you ask him for me please (requesting tone)

Kate - Michael go and ask him yourself (strictly)

Michael went to the living room where his dad was drinking beer. Michael stand in front of his dad and clears his throat and Joe see Michael and Michael say

Michael - I want to go to my friend Chris house tonight and stay there (fearful tone)

Joseph - Why?

Michael - School work

Joe see Michael for a while and say

Joseph - Go

Michael - Thanks! (smiling 😃)

Michael went to his room and prepare everything to go to Chris house. At Chris house, Chris, Michael and Eddie were doing their essays when Chris parents enter the room and Chris dad say

Norris - Son, I and your mom are going out for tonight so behave well

Mary - No going out and here is some money for dinner (giving some money)

Norris - Finish your homework properly

Chris - Don't worry guys we will take care of everything

Mary kiss on Chris's forehead and went outing with her husband. Chris locks the doors and windows and say

Chris - Ed ready the movie and I will prepare the popcorn

Michael - Guys we have to finish this essay

Eddie - We will do it later when we are done with this movie, we promise!

Michael - I hate you both sometimes

Chris - Come on Michael, no one will find out about this, promise. Here have this popcorn (giving big bowl of popcorn) and enjoy the movie care freely

Michael takes the big bowl of popcorn and they start the movie. While seeing the movie, Michael felt someone touching his leg but when he looked who was touching him, there was no one so he shrugged it off thinking he was thinking unnecessary things. After the movie, Chris say

Chris - Wow that movie was cool

Michael - True. I really loved it (smiling ☺)

Eddie - How about we see another movie?

Michael - Ed we have homework to finish

Eddie - Michael you only live for once so live it to its fullest

Chris - I will order the pizza

Michael - Both of you do whatever you want but don't blame me later if we get in trouble

Eddie - We won't get into any trouble

Chris - Think positive

Chris ordered three large pizzas with chicken wings, dips and some juices and he join his friends to see the movie. Few hours later, when Chris parents arrived, they see Chris, Eddie and Michael were doing their school works. Mary say

Mary - What a surprise you three are still studying

Chris - We have tests so working on it

Norris - That's interesting.... We will leave you boys with your work. Mary let us go to bed

Mary - Don't be awake for a long time

Chris - Sure mom

After Mary shut the door, Chris say

Chris - Man we fooled them easily 

Eddie - Just this one time buddy

Michael - Let us finish our work soon and go to bed as we have school tomorrow.
