Chapter 42

In the hospital 🏥, Michael went to the ER section and see a lady sitting on a chair. Michael went to her and ask

Michael - How is Mr. John Nelson? (worried tone)

Lady - Who are you?

Michael - I'm Michael Jackson, Prince's friend. How is Prince's dad?

Lady - I am Dolly, Dolly Parton. I and John were going to a restaurant and suddenly a car hit John and drove away. He had lost lots of blood and the doctor said he might not make it

Michael - Nothing would happen to him

They wait for a long time. 55 minutes later, a doctor comes out of the ER and ask

Doctor - Is someone there for John Nelson?

Michael - How is he? (worried tone)

Dolly - Will he survive? (hopefully)

Doctor - Who is his family member?

Michael - Prince is working at the night shift so he sent me here

Doctor - Do you both have 🆎- blood?

Dolly - Why?

Doctor - We need thet blood as soon as possible because no blood bank has it right now

Michael - I will give it

Doctor - Come with me immediately (seeing Michael)

Few hours later, Prince enter a room and see his dad was half laying and half sitting on the bed and was having soup. Prince see his dad with tears and John see his son and Prince went to John and hugs him tightly and say

Prince - Thank God, nothing happened to you

John - Prince I am alright son (rubbing his back) and thanks to your friend that I am still alive

Prince see John and ask

Prince - What do you mean by that? (shocked 😲)

John wipe Prince tears and say

John - Your friend was here this whole time before you came here. (laying on the bed) He gave me blood and saved my life

Prince - What is his name?

At the same time the door open and John and Prince see Michael enter the room and Michael ask

Michael - Mr. Nelson, I hope you had the soup or else your son Prince would say I did not take care of you properly

Michael looks up and see Prince and Prince ask

Prince - Were you even planning to tell me about my dad or not? (angrily 😡)

Michael - I would never called your work place if I haven't had plans to tell you

Prince - You could have called me after he was out of danger

Michael - Sorry, totally forgot about you because I was worried about your father

John - Prince don't say another word and you can't blame Michael

Michael - It is ok Mr. Nelson, Prince has a point.... I think I should leave now

Prince - I will drop you at your place

Michael - No need of that, I will see you around (seeing Prince) I will leave now Mr. Nelson (seeing John)

Prince - I will be right back in few minutes (seeing John)

John nodes his head with a smile 🙂. At the parking lot, Prince hugs Michael tightly and say

Prince - I'm sorry that I talked to you like that and I love you so much for saving my dad (crying 😢)

Michael rubs his back for a while and say

Michael - It is okay my love

Prince separated from the hug and check Michael's hands and see a bandage on his right hand and ask

Prince - Does it still hurt? (seeing the bandage)

Michael - No silly (shakes his head with a smile 🙂 while wiping Prince's tears)

Prince - I will meet you around soon

Michael - Call me immediately if you need anything, let it be anything, don't hesitate to call me, ok?

Prince nodes his head and say

Prince - Okay.... I will try to meet you in few hours as I need to bring some stuffs for dad

Michael - Did you have anything?

Prince - Yeah, (nodes his head) I had some sandwiches end coffee on my break.

Michael - Ok, good.... Dolly mighg come again she said

Prince - You go home now and again thanks for taking care of my dad

Michael - He is like my dad too and we are neighbors so it won't be nice if we just ignore him like that when he really needed us. Bye (👋 kissing on his cheek)

Michael left to his house. In the Jacksons house, Katherine was worried about Michael as he did not return home yet. Joseph ask

Joe - Why are you worrying about him? (seeing Kate)

Katherine - He said he will be home by morning but it is almost afternoon but he hasn't returned and I called his work place and he did not go there too (seeing Joe)

Joe - It could be he is busy with something else

Kate - He always calls wherever he is

Joseph sighs heavily and say

Joseph - Katy, you worry unnecessarily

Michael enter the house and Katherine ask

Katherine - Michael at last you are home (relaxed tone) Where the hell were you mister? (sternly)

Michael - I was in the hospital

Joseph - Hospital? (alert tone)

Katherine - Why? What happened to you? (worried tone)

Michael - Nothing happened to me.... Mr. Nelson was in the hospital

Joseph - What happened to John? (🤨)

Michael - He got hit by a car.

Kate - How is he now? (worried tone)

Michael - Ok.... Prince wasn't available so I went there

Kate - You could have told us

Michael - I didn't know what to do on that moment so I went there as soon as possible.

Katherine - If you see Prince and say him that he can stay here as long as he wants and they don't need to worry about the food

Michael - Ok! (nodes his head).... I got to go to work now

In Michael's room, Michael enter his room and went to the bathroom and took a shower. When Michael was dressing he heard Eddie ask

Eddie - So how is your crybaby Prince? I heard that his dad is in hospital. Is that old man death or still alive? (teasingly and jokingly tone)

Michael completely ignored him and was about to leave his room and heard Eddie say

Eddie - Last time the target got missed but not next time

Michael - You better not get in Prince's bad side or else you will regret it sooner than later and I also can not help you from his anger and hitting (seeing Eddie seriously)

Eddie see Michael angrily and Michael went to his workplace.
