I woke up and got dressed for my part time job at Starbucks to make some extra cash for college next year.. yeah I could ask my parents but they are already dealing with bills so I'm gonna do it myself and I'd rather do it myself so it isn't handed to me on a silver platter.

Half way through my shift Ryder, Kane, Veronica, Brie and her other minions wall in.
"Would you chill babe?" Ryder asks
"No, I won't! You could have called me to give you a ride home." Veronica says
"I did 9 times and you didn't answer and she was getting ready to leave so yeah what do you want me to say?" He asks
"Whatever. I'm going to put a stop to her." Veronica says going up to the counter.

"Hey loser berry?" She asks
I sigh "What can I get for you?" I ask
"3 venti pink drinks, a medium mocha latte, and a black coffee medium with 6 sugars."
"Okay coming up Veronica." I say writing her name on the cups she ordered
"And one more thing a small black iced coffee no sugar, no creamer." She says smiling
"Okay that is 17.88" I say
"I'll be paying with my platinum card." She says smiling
I roll my eyes "Okay."
*Approved*
"Here's your receipt your order will be up soon." I say

After getting all of veronica's drinks I'm heading back to the counter when.
"Oh loser berry?" She asks
"Yes ma'am?" I ask
She chuckles taking the small black coffee she takes the top off and dumps it on my head.
"Oops defective cuppy!" She says laughing.
Ryder stands up "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"What? The cup was defective." She says smiling
"I'm sure it was." Ryder says crossing his arms.
I head to the back and use the employee restroom to wash the coffee out of my hair and change my shirt. Thankfully they have us bring 2 for things like this.. once I'm changed I head back to the counter and I see Ryder talking to my boss.
{Ah great! Just fucking great!}
"Excuse me miss?" A customer asks
I shake my head "I'm sorry what can I get you?" I ask smiling
"A medium Carmel Latte extra whip and Carmel with 4 cakes balls please."
"Sure thing. That's 10.45" I say
"I'm paying with tap pay." She says smiling
"Okay go ahead it's ready for you." I say smiling.
*************After my shift*********
As I'm heading to my truck Ryder stops me.
"Please don't be seen with me. I'd rather not have more coffee in my hair." I say annoyed.
"Look I'm sorry about V she just is jealous because you have me a ride home." He says smiling
"I don't care Ryder. I've had a crush on you for years and you don't notice me because I'm not on your radar. I'm not Veronica with my gorgeous flowing brown hair, blue eyes, tanned skin. I'm just me with pale skin, blonde hair, blue eyes." I say getting my keys to unlock my truck.
"Callie please wait I get that you've liked me for awhile but-"
I cut him off. "Just save it, I get it. I'm just loser berry with anger issues and anxiety. Just leave me alone."
