Angel With A Shotgun

(A/N: this is based off of the song "angel with a shotgun". But don't worry, that's not the plot, just the inspo.

Also this may be split into a few parts because I didn't realise until after I started writing how long this would be lmao and it switches between adora and Catra's POV.
and everyone is A human in this au Besides catra being an angel.

Catra's POV:

I'm just reading in my room when I hear the door open. I sigh, put down my book and stand.
"catra? Can i talk to you for a moment?" I turn to see the head angel behind me. I spin on my heel and bow.
"of course, whats up?"
"well, I need a new guardian angel to send to earth, theres a girl down their that I feel deserves protection. But all my guardian angels are currently all assigned." she lowers her head and sighs. Pulling out a piece of paper from her pocket.

"you've been here for a while, catra, and you're the only one I trust with this major task" she smiles weakly as she talks.
"wait! Your promoting me!?" I raise my hands to my mouth in shock.
"yes. I'll be sending you down to earth to protect this girl. But before I do so there's rules I must go through with you. And you must listen." then she unravels the paper and hands it to me.

"this is all you need to know about this girl. Your only job is to protect her. And Only she will be able to see you. But you must not share anything about yourself, nor start and kind of relationship, if she's in some type of danger you'll be able to sense it, teleport to her side and protect her."

'Sounds easy enough' i think to myself. I look at the profile I've been given while she talks and scan the picture of the girl. She has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes, pale skin, her hair is in a neat ponytail creating a hair poof to form on the top of her head. She seems like a sensible girl, innocent, most likely a people pleaser, probably nice, she doesn't seem like the type to bully.
I look underneath the photo at her name
Adora
Yep. A innocent people pleaser. That just confirms it.

"protect her and don't share info. Got it." I reply confidently. Raising my head.
"and one more thing, catra, you must not hurt anyone. If you do any physical damage to any living person there will be consequences. That's the most important thing" I raise an eyebrow.
"how do I protect this girl and avoid physical damage? Do those even go" that baffles me. Theres so many scenarios where physical damage would be the obvious option.
"I trust you to figure that out. That's very important for you to remember. You are a guardian angel, you do not cause any physical harm to anyone. No matter what. Got it?" her voice turns stern. I nod immediately. I can't ruin this. I wont ever be trusted again if I do. So I just need to hope she doesn't get dragged into any serious situations.

"now get ready, meet me in the hall in 10. I'll send you down to earth" she leaves without another word and I clean up my bedroom. Excited to get back to earth, see the world I left too soon.

Adora's POV:

"Adora!! Hury up!!" I hear glimmer shout from outside my door. I laugh and walk towards the door, pushing the door open slightly.
"glimmer ill just be a few minutes. Wait for me outside. I wont be long. Promise"
"you have 10 minutes max. Me and Bow have been standing around foreverrr!" we both share a laugh and I go back into my room. We're going to go shopping so we all have a nice outfit to wear to this upcoming pool party. It's being hosted by a friend of glimmers as a way to kick of the summer break. It's quite a big deal to glimmer that we look amazing! Pretty much out whole school is invited.

I turn around as I close my door and head towards my wardrobe, but as I do I suddenly see someone stood in the middle of my room. I scream out of instinct and great the closest thing to me, which happened to be my house keys.
"AHHH! Who are you!? Why are you in my room!?" I point my sharpest key towards her. She just chuckles.
