LATISHA VALENTINE

To win a battle, a person must outsmart its own opponent. Being confident about winning is not a toxic trait for we had prepared for it, we trained for it, and we hoped to achieve that goal. Losing is never on the options, but that idea is catered.

Disregard the past for we can never change what happened. Right now, the best option to take is to face what's ahead, because if we are blinded by factors that hinders us at achieving our goal, we will never win.

In the next few days after I left the Duchy, my two cousins and I focused on depleting our Clan's forces. They have sent people to kill us but after they had known that none of what they sent made it out alive, they stopped. Yet, it was our turn to attack.

With the help of Magnus who knew where the Clan's alliances lie, and my knowledge about the future, we were able to infiltrate their hideouts and burn them all as a signature sign. It was Blessime's idea.

When days become weeks, the small towns of Edinburgh fear the existence of the Joker, the Black Cat and the bunny hunter. They knew it was us, and even none had the guts to stop what we were planning to do. We already know that whoever's running the Moore Clan right now knows who he is against. We have made sure our intent is carefully delivered.

We never stayed in the same place overnight. We are like on the run, but at the same time we are tracing the ones who are also running.

Weeks became a whole month. We have to finish the assassination before winter ends, because we know that the re-election of the Lord of State is just around the corner.

I remembered before that the new Lord is connected to the Moore Clan, and that was one of the reasons why Edinburgh fell to the hands of my father. But, we all know that Fredrick Moore is dead, which makes me narrow down the list on who can replace him.

I am pretty sure it is not Napoleon who will become the Lord of the State. We need to follow the plan in a slow process.

She just made a face.

She motioned her sword and cut the arrow to half.

"Killing the village chief sure makes us unwelcome here," she mumbled and eventually laughed afterwards like a lunatic. "Well, that darn old man deserve to be displayed in the center of the town to give justice for those women he raped and killed."
