Forced relationships

calin pov:
I couldn't believe what stefan did. How could he get into a relationship with eva when he was with me? That's basically cheating. AND IN FRONT OF ME. Why didn't he stand up to her?...
Today when he arrived we exchanged looks. He went to say something to me but eva appeared and jumped on him.
-Stefan!! Your gf finally arrived!! What are you waiting for? Give me a kiss!!
I felt my heart sink as I saw them kissing. Stefan looked at me apologetically, but it didn't mean anything to me anymore.

Eva, Ema, and Adriana had been trying to set me up with Maia for weeks. I didn't have anything against her, but I just didn't see us as a good match. Despite my reluctance, they kept insisting that we would be perfect together.

One day, they brought Maia to meet me in the hallway. I tried to be polite and friendly, but I couldn't help feeling uncomfortable around her. It was clear that she was into me, but I didn't want to lead her on.

After we said our goodbyes and Maia left, Eva, Ema, and Adriana bombarded me with questions about how it went. I didn't want to hurt their feelings, so I lied and said it went well.

But the truth was, I didn't like Maia that way. I didn't want to hurt her either, but I couldn't force myself to have feelings for her. 

I couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy about the whole situation. I wasn't sure if I was ready for a relationship, especially not with someone I didn't have genuine feelings for. But I didn't want to disappoint Maia or my friends, so I put on a smile and acted as if everything was fine.

I find myself alone in the hallway with maia. The pressure that was put on me made me ask her to be my girlfriend even tho I was still in love with flori.

-So.. uhh..
-You wanted us to talk?
-Yeah um. I heard you like me...
-Oh. Yeah... that's right. 
-Um...
I hesitated.
-i like you too. Would you maybe want to be my girlfriend?
I see the girls creeping through the door.
-You're kidding?! YES OF COURSE!!! she exclaimed 

I felt my heart sink as I realized what I had just done. I had asked Maia out just to make Flori jealous. But before I could think of it too much, Maia happily accepted, causing the girls to cheer and clap.

I could feel Flori's eyes on me from across the hallway, and I could sense his jealousy and sadness. It made me feel even worse about the situation, but I couldn't take back what I had done.

As we walked into the classroom, everyone started cheering and congratulating us. It was overwhelming, but at the same time, I couldn't help feeling like a fraud. I knew deep down that I didn't really want to be with Maia, but I had dug myself into a hole that I didn't know how to get out of.

But for now, I just smiled and acted happy, hoping that everything would work out in the end.

Third-person pov:

Calin watched as Flori and Eva started making out in the back of the classroom. His heart sank as he realized that the boy he was in love with was kissing someone else. He tried to focus on Maia and pretend like he was happy, but it was getting harder to keep up the act.

Flori and Eva's makeout session seemed to go on forever. Eva was sitting on Flori's lap, her arms wrapped around his neck as they kissed passionately. Calin felt envy, wishing that it was him in Eva's place.

He couldn't help but stare as Flori's hands roamed over Eva's body, pulling her closer to him. It was like a knife through Calin's heart, knowing that the boy he had feelings for was with someone else.

As Flori and Eva finally pulled away from each other, Calin couldn't bring himself to look at them. He felt like he was about to break down in tears, but he knew he had to hold it together.

Trying to distract himself, Calin took Maia's hand and led her out of the classroom. He tried to focus on her, but his mind kept wandering back to Flori and Eva. He wondered if Flori ever knew how he felt, or if he would ever have the courage to tell him.

As they walked down the hallway, Calin couldn't help but feel like something inside him had shattered. He knew that he had to come to terms with his feelings for Flori and move on, but it was easier said than done.

He tried to push the thoughts of Eva and Flori out of his head and focus on Maia.
They held hands and walked around the school during recess, chatting and laughing like a couple in love.
Everyone seemed to think that they were perfect together, but Calin couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing.
 As they sat on a bench, watching the other students play, Calin tried to muster up the courage to kiss Maia.
He knew it was what he was supposed to do as her boyfriend, but the thought of kissing her didn't excite him as it should. Finally, he leaned in for the kiss, but his heart wasn't in it. It felt forced and awkward, and he quickly pulled away. Maia looked at him with confusion in her eyes, but he just smiled weakly and tried to pretend like everything was okay. 

 The rest of the day was a blur of classes and conversations, but Calin couldn't get Eva and Flori out of his head.

Flori watched as Eva left the classroom, feeling a sense of relief that he could finally breathe again. He had no interest in her and was only doing what she wanted because he didn't want to hurt her feelings.

As he walked down the hallway, he noticed Calin and Maia holding hands, laughing like they were the only two people in the world. Flori couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy in his chest.

It was his fault. He had to fix this somehow and cut eva out of his life.
