Wendy concluded that she must have been overthink this whole thing.

Tom liking her.

Right now she wasn't so sure of it anymore.

The tables have now turned or so it seems.

Now she's the one who likes Tom.

Wendy doesn't want to say anything about it or accept the fact but deep down she knows it's true.

Why does it feel like something is off about her feelings?

Tom has indeed proven to be a really good friend.

They've spent lots of times together, studying, having lunch and even at one time going to the cinema together, although accompanied by their friends.

All the while Wendy seems to be falling for him but at the same time she doesn't know why it feels off.

She wanted to tell Hailey how wrong she was but in the opposite sense she would be right because now she has growing feelings for him.

Why is the heart this way?

She smiles at his texts and wastes no time responding even if it's something not related to their school.

"So who is he?" Damien her asks at one point.

Even a blind person would know that Wendy's beginning to fall in love but was it meant to be?

"No one" she glares at her brother.

"Sheesh, no need to get feisty about it" he raised his hands in surrender as he doesn't mention it again but occasionally gives his sister smug looks every now and then.

Even right now at work she can still see that look on her brother's face.

It's somewhat judgmental, Wendy thinks to herself.

She has no idea why this is the topic of thought in the little mental breakdown she's currently having at work.

Shaking her head to clear all thoughts of Tom so she can focus on her job but speak of the devil he comes right through the doors with a charming smile.

"Hi" Tom greets as he approaches the counter.

"Hey" Wendy responds.

"What can I get you today?" She asks with her usual polite smile.

"Nothing much in particular. Just the usual" Tom replies in a cheerful tone as they both lock eyes for a second too long.

Wendy turns around to get him his orders when she hears a familiar voice and perceives the cologne that takes her to Cloud 9.

"Hello"

She freezes at the spot and slowly turns around only to see Harry standing next to Tom in all his glory.

Expensive suite ironed to perfection with the edges possibly sharper than two edged swords. Dark hair shining under the lights and probably even darker than the last time she saw him which was at night. His charming smile was more than the cherry on top.

It is everything right now.

Luckily, Hailey was within earshot and she had started getting Tom's order ready.

In the meantime she had been watching everything unfold silently from where she stood.

Oh and did we forget to mention Maverick too?

She watched as his muscles flexed on his polo t-shirt they had to earth for work as he walked from table to table making sure the customers had no complaints.

Deep down this made her worry a bit.

Most customers were always letting their eyes linger on him too long as they checked him out.

Surprisingly, Maverick doesn't seem to notice any of this.

"Good Morning,Welcome to Bontega Café. What would you like to order?" Wendy asks Harry in a polite smile.

She did notice Tom staring daggers into his head.

At this moment she realized that phrase that goes; If looks could kill, Was probably meant for Tom.

"Same as last time. An Expresso to go and a few donuts" He orders.

"Okay, with sugar?" She asks.

"Yes" he responds.

They both chuckled as they remember having the exact same conversation the first time they saw each other.

Tom clears his throat as it seems he had been forgotten and it was just Harry and Wendy in their own little world.

This brings their attention to him and Wendy watches as the two men stare at each other with little to no emotion on their faces.

If only she knew what was going on in their head.

Why does Tom look jealous? and why does Harry look like he doesn't care?

There's tension and awareness in the air as Wendy realizes that she has a crush on both men but the feelings for one is stronger than the other.

It seems both men also like her or so it seems and now they're gonna fight for her.

This would be any other princess' dream in very popular movies made by a certain company and even in real life girls would want this but not Wendy.

"Wendy? You're being called at the back" Hailey says giving a side glance to Wendy as she gives Tom his orders.

"Oh, uhh..." She tries to speak.

"Don't worry I'll cover for you" Hailey assures and turns to Harry.

"Your order will come right I'm in less than a minute" Hailey says.

Wendy goes to the back where of course no one's actually calling her.

She'll have to wait here for a while till both men leave.

Wendy remembers something  after a while but it was somewhat too late to go out there now.

Harry still hasn't gotten his $80 change.
