                    Jack's POV

"Uhh . . . . What hell happened" I groaned and lifted my left hand to my forehead. It feels like someone tried to crack open my head with a sledge hammer. "You were attacked, son. By an animal if it's anything to by that bite mark on you." I opened my eyes to see a middle aged doctor. He seemed to be around his late 50s. He has short brown hair with white hairs scattered through it and had a peach skin tone with bright hazel eyes. He looked old but you could tell he had more spirit than he should. "You alright there sport. You seem a little dazed" he said with a look of worry on his face. I tried to sit up properly but before I could moved more than an inch he said "I wouldn't do that if I were lad. You have a concussion and that arm of yours won't be of much use for a while" he pointed at my arm as he said the last sentence. I looked down to my right arm and for the first time noticed that it was in a cast. I looked around the white room and saw that the doctor was sitting down in one of the three chairs to my left. On my right there was a table with flowers and balloons that said "get well soon" I finally turned back to the doctor and asked "where am I"

"Well your in the hospital, lad as if that wasn't obvious" he said with a chuckle. "You were attacked in the park by something, a dog maybe, but we don't know. Not even Mr.Sanchez, poor fellow was going crazy with worry."

"What who's Mr.Sanchez and what attack are you talking about"

"Hmmm . . . . That hit to your noggin must caused you to lose some of your memory, but don't worry it wasn't serious you'll start to remember. I guess being passed out for three days can do stuff to ya"

"What!!! . . . . Are you saying I've been passed out for three whole days!!! Because a dog bit me! How is that even possible!?"

"Well, soni, I said it could have been a dog but that bite mark is quite big and so do the teeth that did it. You also hit your head as I've told you and you lost quite a bit of blood. Also Mr.Sanchez is the man that saved you. He said he saw you limp out of the park and when he got close to see if you were alright you passed out. He instantly called and ambulance to come and get you."

The doctor said all of this with a calm face as if he's seen this type of thing every day, but he is a doctor so he probably has. I closed my eyes and brought my hand back to my head to massage it. This was all to much I though but that thought was interrupted by the sound of my stomach. It groaned so loud I winced at the noise and gave an embarrassed smile to the doctor. He only chuckled and shook his head. "Don't worry boy, I'll get you some grub" he stood up and left the room. When he was gone I looked to my side and saw my reflection in the window. There were dark circles around my eyes making my dark brown eyes seem black. My tanned skin looked more peach than brown especially with the white hospital gown. I turned me head away from the window and closed my eyes and tried to remember what happened. It started slowly at first but then I remembered jogging through the park, the wolf, getting attacked, fighting back, and in the end Mr.Sanchez helping me. The wolf was weird now that I think about. Aren't they supposed to be smaller, with blue eyes, and have fur that's black and grey or white. I've never heard or seen a wolf that's completely white and certainly not one that shade, it was looking at freshly fallen snow. Most of all the weirdest thing was it's eyes, the way they seem to glow in the darkness. I cant forget them but surprisingly I'm not afraid. I laid there in my bed until I heard foot steps coming. I waited a couple of seconds and they still didn't reach me. How far away are they I thought but then if their so far away how can I hear them. I tried to concentrate on the noise and suddenly I could hear a bunch of them. They were all over down the halls, below me, and on top. I could hear their voices and carts. I could hear glasses being picked up and being put down. Then I heard the doctor "good after noon Beatrice, how are you?"
"I'm doing fine, thanks for asking doc"
A few seconds later he came in with a plate that had a grilled cheese sandwich, jello, grapes, and some Apple juice. "Here you go lad, hope you like grilled cheese" he said with a smile. "Thanks" I replied before I tool a huge bite of the sandwich. "I also called your parents, told them you were awake. Said they'll come right away and take you home." He told me before he walked back out and left. I finished my lunch and went to sleep thinking of how I could hear everything going on around me.

Next Day
Jack's House

I jumped awake the next day to my phone blaring an alarm in my ear. I fell to the floor holding my ears from the load sound, I thought my ear drums would bleed before I remembered I could turn it off and did so quickly. I sat up right in my bed waiting for the ringing in my ears to stop. I've noticed since yesterday that my hearing been very sensitive. I haven't said anything because I thought it go away soon but if I keep hearing people's heart beat I'm going to say something soon. I got dressed and quickly left my house. I hope this day goes better than yesterday did.
