Chapter 3

*DELANEY'S POV*

It's been about 5 minutes since I left the Château. I'm headed to the Camren's house right now to see Rafe. I also took JJ dirt bike so I'm already almost there.

Me and Rafe have been dating for about 6 months. But no one knows. All the pouges keep saying he's a bad person but he really isn't. The best part is he gets me whatever I want.

I already know what your probable thing. 'oh you only like him because he gets you stuff'. If you are thinking that then first of all rude and second I wouldn't care if Rafe was dead broke or the richest guy in the hole world.

I love him.

He's almost like a dad sometimes though. What I mean by that is if I steal something and he finder out he'll give me the 'dad's side eye'

Soon I realize that I was at his house. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and saw like 50 different texts from JJ. I just ignore them and texted Rafe.

*ON TEXT*

Hey Rafey I'm here
window or door?

Kid get your ass up here and
through the window. RIGHT NOW.

*OFF TEXT*

oh shit. oh shit. oh shit. oh shit. oh shit. oh shit. He's MAD. Rafe only ever uses periods when he's MAD. Not just mad but MAD.

I finely got to the window and see Rafe standing in front looking very angry. I open the window and climb through.

"Wh- wh- why d- do you look m- mad" I stuttered I hated when Rafe was mad. Especially when Rafe was mad at me.

He's never done anything to hurt me and I don't think he ever will. But still with trauma that my  dad gave me. It makes me nervous.

"When we're you going to tell me you got expelled from school or we're you going to lie about that" Rafe spoke very sternly. "H- how did you know" I asked confused and quietly. I could tell by the look on his face he wasn't very happy with that answer.

"Firstly do you think that was a good answer" Rafe asked "no" I shook my head. "Secondly did you really think I just wasn't gonna find out sooner or later" Rafe spoke very annoyed.

Before I could even think I opened my mouth and said "no you idiot I knew you we're going to find out I was just hoping it would be later rather then sooner. So that you wouldn't have to act like and overprotective dad."

"Oh my fucking god Delaney this shit is ridiculous. And to be honest I couldn't care if you got expelled or not. I only brought it up because I knew you weren't gonna tell me if I didn't say anything. I mean Jesus Christ Delaney you smart you really are fuck your smarter than me." Rafe yelled in an angry but caring voice.

"...I'm sorry..." I lead on deciding on whether or not I wanted to tell him what was really going on.

"It's just...s- s- something h- ha- happened" i felt tears start to well in my eyes. And Rafe saw it to because he hugged me. " Delaney what's going on I've never seen you cry like your actual kinda scary me" Rafe said while still hugging me.

"I was..um...at B- Barry's a few...weeks ago......and when I was about to leave I saw...m- my dad and he...umm he didn't...k- know that I did drugs like he do- does and he saw me and was not...happy about it...you could say and he mad that very clear." by the time I was done telling him what happened I had tears in my eyes in all over my face.

"Did you tell JJ" Rafe asked looking down at me. "no...I was to...scared to tell him" i whispered "you need to tell him" Rafe softly spoke back.

I just nod. "Can we cuddle on the bed" Rafe nods and we get in his bed. "I love you" I say while kissing him. "I love you too"

*TIME SKIP*
the next day

I woke up in Rafe's bed and noticed he wasn't here. I was a little upset until I saw a not on his bedside table. It read...

Don't worry Kid I'm only in the shower I'll be out in a few.
P.s This was written at 10:16 am also get up it's late love you be out in a bit.

After seeing the time on the note I gasped and grabbed my phone it was 10:58.  Honestly I was surprised it was so 'early' and I was awake. I typically sleep till 12:30 or 1:00.

After I got over that fact that is was early I checked my text and saw that I now had about 100 texts from JJ. All of which being along the lines on 'you took my bike' 'dude get back here I want my bike' and my favorite being ' you're only 14 you can't drive. So where are you so I can get my bike.'

I started to here footsteps coming towards Rafe's door. I decided to pretend to be asleep. I rolled over and as soon as I did I heard the door open and Rafe came in.

"Are you serious Kid come onnnn. get up Delaney" Rafe dragged on I almost laughed but I was able to hold it in. Thank god. "Fine fine I'll just smoke my morning weed without you..." he trailed on. I shot up out of bed as fast as I could. "I want weed give me weed" I said at a fast pace "good so you are awake you little shit" Rafe joked "yes now GIVE ME WEED!!!" I said and he just laughed.

I ran and jumped into his lap he was sat at his desk. He was getting the already rolled blunts, from the only locked drawer in his desk. He grabbed 2, 1 for me and 1 for him and a lighter.
