Chapter 2: Autumn Kori
Every students of SCA arrived at the auditorium. I heard from a few students that there's approximately 1500 students inside the auditorium. Which is a alot for me.
Every students sat down as they wait for the announcement. I sat beside Lyne and her left side is Lila who looks sleepy, as if she doesn't want to be in here.
I heard Lyne sigh and started patting Lila's back hard. "Wake up Lila. Announcement is coming."
I looked up and saw a tall male student with a dark, flawless skin, narrow eyes, and well-defined nose, and plump lips. His hair is short dark brown hair with a fringe reaching in some points past his eyes, and a parting above his left eye. He looks pleasing to the eyes, the type of guy you can't remove your eyes from.
He walked up to the stairs and stood on the stage with a paper on hand and a mic on the other.
He cleared his throat. "I'll keep this brief," He looks up from his paper, "Welcome to Sierra Charter Academy. I am announcing about the spirit week which will start tomorrow. The only thing we do for spirit week here in SCA is to dress up based on the theme of the day. I'll be telling the theme for each day of this week." he opened another paper and read it:
"For tomorrow, it's called into the 1990s. Wednesday is day in paris. Thursday is Garden outfit party, a sports event will also be held at thursday afternoon and lastly, friday is Roaring 20s which we will also have our homecoming for the night."
He looks up at all of us, observing the large auditorium before bowing his head.
"Thank you and have a good afternoon."
Spirit week, sports event, and homecoming in just a week. That is so many events in just a week. My eyebrows rose for a second as I tilt my head subconsciously. Is this how high school starts?
Lyne seems to have found my expression amusing as she laughs. "Are you okay Sadie? It's like your life flashed before your eyes."
Maybe it did. "No. I'm just shock with the amount of events in just a week."
She shrugs. "First week of school, and I'm sure the vice president made sure to finish them all this month because I think next month is the start of something new but I don't know." she shrugs. "I heard that from a student who heard from another student who also heard from—"
"So the guy who just announced everything wasn't the student council president?" I cut her off. She was about to start rambling.
She shakes her head with a little nope. "That's the vice presidesnt, Damian Lucius Silverstone. As for the Student Council President, she's a busy woman so I have heard. I mostly hear people say that she's a very icy person. Like a snow queen from Swan lake."
My lips pursed in confusion at the claim.
There is no Snow Queen in Swan lake.
After the announcement, all students stood up from their seats and head back to their classrooms, all while talking about what clothes to wear for tomorrow.
As I was heading to my classroom alone, an arm suddenly swing on my shoulder. The smell of a sweet strawberry perfume already tells me who it is.
"So~ Wanna wear matchy outfits tomorrow? I already have them planned out after all." Shelley giggles.
I just smiled and nodded. "Sure. What is it?"
"Come home with me today and I'll show you. I already told your mom that I'll be taking you in our home tonight."
