Chapter 1: Mystery Awaits Her
The four Koris.
Thousands of years ago, they were once the rulers of the land of Awvirilla, beloved by their people. Each of them were well known for their compassion and generousity, never failing to help the people in need.
And that is when it began.
Each Koris started dying. Surrounding modern people with unearthly rumors, of cries and howls that fills the nights of each academy dedicated to each Koris and hearsays of new Koris awakening.
People who dared to enter the old building north east inside the Sierra Charter Academy Campus were simply never heard from again.
Even after thousands of years, these stories remains, much like the History of Koris themselves.
In spite any of this, people in Awvirilla are convinced that these stories are nothing more than just a hoax to scare little children and adults from disrespecting the Koris.
With little regard for the truth, they were courageous enough to make an academy dedicated to each Koris on each cities.
Yielden Laeves Academy is dedicated to Spring Kori.
Summer Dale Academy is dedicated to Summer Kori.
Sierra Charter Academy is dedicated to Autumn Kori.
Eira Wolfsfield Academy is dedicated to Winter Kori.
Four of these academy together formed one single goal;
That is to live with a purpose, with prestige, with heritage.
With dreams.
"Sorry! Coming though! Whoops! I'm sorry!"
As soon as I heard the voice, I looked up from the book I'm reading and stepped aside to avoid getting bumped by the girl who is running with her hands full of books, heading up the stairs.
It's the first day of school. In every high school novels, something always happens at the first day. For example;
You woke up late in the morning and is now rushing out of the door with a piece of bread between your mouth and then head off to school. On your way over, you suddenly bumped into someone and it's a very pretty man and boom, you fall in love at first sight.
I let out an amusement huff. Well, if only that's how notable high school is at the first day. Even walking up to my designated classroom is weary enough.
A tall Romanesque architecture building caught my attention from the corner of my eyes, I took a glance at the building for a moment. The building has surrounding towering round arches.
That building...seems off. Sierra Charter Academy, also known as SCA, always had this similar old buildings around. They're either abandoned or will be renovated in the future. I quickly look down at my book to carry on where I'm reading, before continuing to walk past the students.
I looked up at the top of the door and saw the sign:
"Amber."
As soon as I saw the door plate, I entered inside and saw a bunch of other students from different corners.
One group is silent, another is noisy that it makes you just want to leave them alone, and others that I can't pinpoint the difference.
All in all, I really don't care any of them, and they don't care about me. It's a win for me so they won't disturb me from reading my book and escaping reality.
