When The Love Lasts

Chapter 4

I woke up late the next day because of the tiredness i had last night! Unpacking things and setting up in a new house takes time as well as your energy.

I didn't sleep much well last night, at first because i was tired and second i couldn't stop thinking about that stupid GENTELMAN! not so behavior..

Damn why the hell in the earth i am thinking about Faris! I am not the one to think anyone but focus on my upcoming carrier. I can't be dependent on my future one ofc.

After our classes, I and shayra were walking through corridors talking about the things we are planning to do on the weekend.

Shayra said she wanted to tell me something important about her and then she said "Elif!! I have to tell you something very important i think you need to know" smiling i said, " it's okay calm down tell me what happened".

She looked at me with her gleaming eyes with a smile. " Guess what? My mom called me and told me i am gonna be engaged in one week with Arhan!!! Yaayy!". She excitedly said embracing me in a bone crushing hug.

My heart melted for both of them. "Ah! You just broke our single girlies code. I said dramatically whining. " I am so happy for you!! You're finally marrying the love of your life " I always wanted Arhan and Shayra to be together because i have seen them falling in love till school time. They're a perfect match of course.

I always wanted the love they have but I think in my fate there is no thing as true love or I don't think i would ever be able to fall in love with anyone as Zayn had proved me what love is!

Shayra had extra classes of literature so i guess i am going home alone today.

Walking out, the guy in red shirt stared at me creepily. Maybe one of my seniors. What the heck man? Doesn't he have to do anything else at the noon rather than checking me out? I ignored his stare and focused on walking past him.

He came in my way and i stumbled a bit. My books dropped at the same time. Just when i bend down to pick the books, he came smiling in all stupied manner saying "let me help you sorry". But he doesn't seem sorry at all.

I quickly stand glancing in his way with the scowl on my face. "Here you go sweetie", he said handing me books deliberately brushing his hand on mine. A devilish smirk on his face. His hand squeezed mine for a sec and then the dominant voice came out of nowhere. "Get your hands off her! Now!".

Turning on my right, there he was. Mr. Faris Afandi. I don't know why I felt a sense of comfort knowing he is right there. The red shirt guy stumbled backwards with shocked expressions. Good. Faris came rushing towards the man standing infront of me. He punched directly into his face. Omg his nose instantly bleeding and panic was settling in.

Faris grabbed his collar angrily saying "Try to touch her again, and you'll end up under 6 feet ground". " Faris stop! Leave him already please". I said in a pleading tone. I've never seen a man, specifically faris in this way. It horrifies me the way his expressions say I will kill you. The boy just hisses, a cruel expression on his face then looking at me he rushed back to the other way.

His grey pools collide with me and our eyes lingered for more than necessary. Walking my way, he came in long two strides checking me out in an anxious way if i am hurt or not, "Elif are you okay?" . He said in a low voice tension pouring from his muscles.

I was so lost in his behaviour. Like i matter for him? Is it really he cares for me or just put up on a act. Well it doesn't seem act to me. The possesiveness in his tone for me. He didn't even touched me properly but he acted like you're mine and i am your husband behaviour.

"Look i am all good, no need to over react", i said huffing. He just looked amused. Chuckling a bit he said, "Nothing mi amor". I just stared at him freezing, unable to give any response.

Mi amor? Really? My heart skipped several beats realising the shiver in my body by his recent comment.
"Don't get your hopes too high got it?" I said in a fumbled tone and he laughed.
Okay so he was teasing me. Ughh i hate him so muchh.

"Come on, let's go grab lunch". He said tilting his head a bit towards his car.
"You're weird but yes i am so hungry so let's go!".
I said smiling a bit. This is the first time i really smiled out of my heart. He made me smile. He? Yes!

My heart beats non-stop and I'll be damned if i ever fall for him....
