I woke up to the smell of something sweet baking down the stairs in the kitchen. Sliding my feet out of the warm sheets I gently placed them on the cool floor. Goose bumps shot up my arms and legs giving me the chills. I spotted my grey long cardigan hanging on my closet door and snatched it up while I walked out the door. Walking down the stairs I slid it on and feelings its warmth wrap around my small frame. Once I got to the bottom I saw Mrs. Becker fixing muffins in the oven. The sweet aroma filled the house and soon I was seated at the island in the chair watching her cook and bake and hum away her worries.

"Good morning Mrs. Becker, the muffins smell really good." I said with happiness.

"Why thank you darling but you can call me Lisa. Please I would much rather you call me that darling." she said without turning around.

"Ok I can do that. No problem."

"Could you do me a favor sweetie and go get Jordan up. I think he is still asleep."

"Yep no problem at all." I said jumping off my chair and dashing up the stairs.

Jordan's door was shut so I slowly turned the knob not wanting to wake him quite yet. Opening the door all the way I saw Jordan curled up on one side of the bed facing the door looking so peaceful in his slumber. Quietly I tiptoed over to him and crawled onto the bed next to him. I stayed a good half a foot away before I whispered "Wake up sleepy head." He stirred but not two seconds later he was sound asleep again. I didn't have a strong desire to wake him. His features were so soft as he lay there soundless. I traced his face and jawline with my index finger and ended up tracing his lips. He must have felt my soft touch because his eyes slowly opened to me staring into his.  I soon felt his own finger caressing my jaw. His eyes flickered to my lips and I couldn't help but feel the heat on my cheeks.

"Danny, your so beautiful." His voice trailing off as he cupped my cheek in his hand and leaned in and kissed my forehead. I could only smile in response.

"Jordan your mom is making us muffins downstairs and she sent me to wake you up so we better get up."

"If we must but I'm really sore today from surfing. I had no idea I could ever become this sore." I laughed at his comment and I sat up. He eventually sat up with me. He continued to stare into my eyes, but suddenly turned away as his cheeks flushed red. Turning away I got up and walked to the door but only to feel his hand wrap around mine and pull me back into a strong hug. I hugged him back but only to notice that he wasn't wearing a shirt but basketball shorts. I blushed and buried  my face into his strong warm chest. He pulled away just enough to slide his hands down to my waist. We both made strong eye contact and then he started leaning in. I met him the rest of the way and at that moment I never felt a feeling so strong in my entire life.
