Chapter Twentytwo
"Mom! I need your help so let me come in!" I protested while knocking on her door for a multiple times but she is not answering but I can feel that she is there inside. She just doesn't want to come out
"Mom I swear! I don't know how to shift into a human! Help me or I'll break this door of yours! I know that you're inside your room" I shouted with a frustrated voice and a duh tone. I heared the click of her heels and opened the door with a heavy sigh
"See, I know you're inside" I said while leaning at her door frame. She sighed and nodded her head at me then she let me come inside.
"Mom, help me! Right now. Ugh" I said with a groan that made her chuckle and shook her head. She cross her arms on her chest and just looking at me silently. I can feel that she is worrying about something or should I say, someone which is me
"Why are you worrying about me, mom? I'm perfectly fine, you know" I told her with a soft and soothing voice that I can master. She warmly smile at me which is a fake one. What is she thinking?
"Mom, am I the one who is not okay or it is you?" I ask her that made her shook her head and sighed heavily. I'm perfectly fine and for all I know they didn't hurt me
"You know baby.. I'm just afraid that.. You'll get hurt when you know. I don't want this wolf slash vampire life for you.." She concernely said which made me confuse with the wolf slash vampire thingy
"What do you mean mom?" I confusely ask her with a confuse face plastered on my face. For the hundreth time, she sighed and went to her desk and sat.
"Let Jack help you to shift and come back here if you're ready to hear some things you need to know" Mom seriously said so I just slowly nod my head and walk away. I can feel that there is someone on the door so I walk slowly. When I opened the door I saw Jack eavesdropping
"So, eavesdropping is not good" I said with my arms cross on my chest. He nervously chuckle at me and rub the back of his neck. I just look at him while he is thinking of some explanation that he is not eavesdropping
"I'm not eavesdropping! Just, you know? Investigating things and such" He said with a slightly nervous chuckle which is a complete lie.
"Stop investigating. You're not even sherlock blah blah" I said rolling my eyes im frustration. He lean at the wall with his eyes on the ceiling. He is wearing a tight shirt and jeans that made his abs, muscles, biceps to buldge. Damn, he have the body that every guy wants.
"Mmhmm, Kastiellene. Fantasizing me is not good" He said slowly looking at me with his oh so famous smirk. Am I fantasizing him? Of course not! Why should I? right? no.
"Am I fantasizing you? Nah-uh. I have seen something better than yours so yeah" I said with a matter of fact tone and walk away leaving him laughing there. Is that even funny? I swear this guy is carrying a real big problem
"You'll sleep with your wolf form? Okay. But I'm remiding you that Queen Jaquellene wants me to help you shift back" He said that made me stop from my tracks. I remember what mom said that made me sigh in annoyance. Of all people or wolves, why Jack?!
"Fine" I said in defeat and turn my look at him. What a black mailer he could be. He walk away encouraging me to follow him so I did. I'm not that dumb, you know.
"Now, let your self be relax" His voice is so relaxing that urge my muscles to relax from the tension that my body and muscles are feeling. I close my eyes and the air embrace me again which is more relaxing
