in a world where conventionalism is the accepted norm, people born with superpowers are served with one choice: to die. for children born with superpowers, a glowing light would emit from their orifice for a few mere seconds. this caused the many doctors who have seen this strange light think they were imagining things, since after a few seconds of blinking and rubbing their eyes, the weird lights would disappear, as if they never happened.
what they don't know is that some of these babies will have superpowers or even develop superpowers in later stages of life, despite an extremely low and rare rate of below even 0.0000001%. that means 75 babies every year out of the annual 75 million babies might stand a chance in developing powers, although they may be insignificant powers.
however, there seems to be a strange phenomenon. babies, that are born in the month of june, seem to be born with or will develop 2 powers as they grow up.
a baby, born on 12 june 2000, was without the distinctive glowing light from her nostrils, mouth, ears, and even anus. but, she developed a superpower of mind reading since she was a child, a gift and a curse at the same time, allowing her to win all the debates she's ever been on. she also had super speed, allowing her to reach speeds equivalent to that of light. another baby born on 7th june 1983 developed the superpower of stopping time when he was in his mid teens, allowing him to come up on top in every exam. he also had inhumane flexibility, making him the real mrs incredibles. with such a weird power, he could only use it whenever he paused time.
m/n who was born without any powers, had a successful yet mundane life, which is quickly thrown over when he is faced with the fact that he somehow got the power of teleportation when he teleported to someone's room, unbeknownst to himself.
when m/n's powers go erratic and out of control, m/n has to learn how to keep them in check, because if he suddenly disappeared in public and got caught on camera, he would endanger his life, and millions of babies like he once was, now, and in future.
