"Hipple Street isn't popular anymore, Neil. You should move on." His dad told him.
"But how? I can't make it on my own." He told him, sighing.
"I've got a friend. He needs someone to perform at a dinner for Phil Coulter. He says if you'll do it, you're in." He said to Neil.
"Alright. Let's see where this road takes me." He agreed, full of hope.

"You've got some real talent. I'm Phil Coulter." The man explained, holding out his hand to shake.
"Hello, sir. I'm Neil Byrne. It was a pleasure to play for you." He said politely, shaking his hand.
"The pleasure is all mine, trust me. Would you be interested in speaking with me about joining my backing band for Celtic Thunder? I need a backup vocalist as well. I think you'd fit the part." Phil smiled at him. He was speechless.
"I, um. I would love to, Mr. Coulter." He stumbled.
"Please, call me Phil. I have to go, but please contact me later." He handed Neil a business card before he was whisked away by other guests.
He couldn't believe it.

"Welcome to the team. Now, I know you've learned the music with the band already, but now you have to meet everyone else." Barry told him, leading his fellow guitarist to the meeting room.
"Oh, hello!" A blonde woman greeted them. "You must be Neil. You're the last one to meet. Come in, come in. I'm Sharon. I'm the producer."
"Nice to meet you, ma'am." He shook her hand and looked around the room. He recognized the band members, but there were four men and a boy he didn't know. He assumed they were the singers.
"Lads, this is Neil. He's the other lead guitarist in the band." Sharon introduced him.
"Hello, I'm George." The large, bald man introduced himself. "The blonde is Keith, the one with the perfect hair is Paul, the little one is Damian, and the last one is Ryan. Nice to meet you." He finished.
"Well now that that's out of the way, let's get started." Sharon pushed them to practice. This group was her baby and she expected nothing less.

The tour went fabulously. He got along with everyone, especially the principals. It was a long tour, followed by a lot of recording sessions, but he had fun. There was even a next one! Take Me Home was going to start working in a few weeks. It wasn't exactly making it, but he wasn't gonna knock this life.

Author's Note
I know this is short, but the little tour summaries are going to be. It's more of a character development thing. It's how we get to the good part! Vote and comment!
