Strawberry Shortcake

HYUNJIN

I woke up with a smile on my face. Ready to start the day. I changed quickly, eager to see Felix.

His smile, his freckles, his big eyes, him.

I ran downstairs to see Chan on his phone. "Hey! Is Felix up yet?" Chan looked up to see the speaker. "Oh, Hyunjin. No, I'm gonna order McDonald's for breakfast. What do you want?" "A breakfast sandwich."I answered, a bit disappointed to not see Felix. "Anything else?"Chan asked. I shook my head, no.

I went to the living room and turned on the TV, my mind on Felix.

"What are you thinking about?"said a sweet voice behind me. I turned to see Felix. A big smile spread on my face. He plopped down next to me. "Good morning, Jinnie!"he said, smiling at me. "You didn't forget about the cake...right?" "NO WAY!!"I said, a bit too loudly. "I guess you like making cake!"he said changing the channel. "Especially for you,"I muttered under my breath so Felix couldnt hear me. And he didn't.

"GOOD MORNING, GUYS!!!"said Han from above, very loudly.

"Good morning, Han,"said me, Felix and Chan at the same time, already used to Han's loud self.

Once everyone woke up and ordered breakfast, we all gathered to watch TV.

When the McDonald's order came, everyone gathered to the breakfast table, I made sure to sit next to Felix. He blushed a little. It's too cute to see Felix blushing for any small thing.

"Is that all what you're eating!?"asked Felix when he saw my food. I nodded. He gave me half of his orange juice. I blushed when I realized it was basically and indirect kiss.

"Do you like it?"Felix asked, sweetly. I nodded, smiling at him.

"Should we play video games later?"asked Felix. I nodded. "Seungmin, Jeongin, would you like to play too!" They agreed to the plan. I was kinda disappointed. I was hoping that it would just be me and Felix playing. But they had to come along. I shakes these thoughts away, focusing on eating my meal.

"Do you think you guys are ready for practice today?"asked Chan. Everyone said 'no'. "I have raised lazy kids!"Chan said jokingly. Everyone laughed. Including me.

Once we where done our meal, Felix, me, Jeongin, and Seungmin went to the gaming room to play games.

Even though I would have rather be alone with Lixie, I really enjoyed playing games with my best friends.

We played for a few hours, laughing and talking together.

I excused myself and went downstairs to make the strawberry shortcake, knowing it will take a pretty long time, we needed to eat it before practice.

Once I put the cake in the oven I went up to the game room. "Hey Felix!"I called, "Wanna go to the park together?" He nodded, smiling at me. I blushed.

He turned off the computer, said bye to Jeongin and Seungmin.

I grabbed Felix's arm and we went out. I lead Felix to my car. "No,"Felix said. I looked at him in surprise. What happened? "Let's walk, it'll be nicer, I think." The walk to the park is a mile and a half. I nodded. "But on the way back we should go by car,  we don't want the cake to burn!"I said. Felix nodded in agreement.

Felix took my arm. I blushed. His soft fingers went down to my hand and grabbed it. His warm small fingers holding my hand. I blushed even more.

"Should we get some ice cream, Jinnie?"he asked. "But you will be eating cake!"I said. He pouted. "Fine,"I said unable to resisit his cuteness.

FELIX

I squeezed his hand, seeing him blush a bit. Once we arrived at the park we sat down at a bench, exhausted. "Can we get ice cream now?"I asked, smiling. Hyunjin nodded, smiling at me. I got cookies n creme, Hyunjin got rocky road.

"Do you want some of mine?"Hyunjin asked. I blushed a bit and nodded. I took his ice cream and licked it. It tasted sweet. "Do you want some of mine?"I asked, offering my ice cream. "Sure!"he said enthusiastically. I blushed.

When we were done our ice creams, we sat down on the bench. I put my head on Hyunjin's broad shoulder, taking in the cracks of sunlight through a tree. I sighed. "I'm happy,"I said looking up at Hyunjin.

"Me too, Lixie,"Hyunjin whispered laying his head on mine.

We stayed like that until Hyunjin jumped up. "T-the cake!!"he shouted. Grabbing my hand and taking me home.

Once we arrived, Hyunjin took the cake out of the oven, finishing it up.

I went up to my room, scrolling on my phone.

Then there was a knock on the door. "Come in!!"I said.  Hyunjin came in. He sat down on my bed and handed a plate with two slices of strawberry short cake.

He placed the plate on my lap. I smiled. Taking a bite. "ITS SO GOOD!" Hyunjin smiled. "Thank you!"

"They're is some cream on your face!"Hyunjin said, after I finished half my cake. "Where??"I asked, confused. Hyunjin slowly wiped the cream off my mouth and licked it off his finger. I blushed.

I stared at his lips. Hyunjin got closer to me. The distance between us receding.

HYUNJIN

I brushed Felix's soft lips. But this time I didn't move away. Our lips met into a soft kiss. It lasted about 15 seconds before we broke apart, needing to breathe again.
I smiled at him. He smiled back.

FELIX

Hyunjin softly pushed me laying position onto my bed, going on top of me. I blushed...hard. He did too. He kissed me, softly but passionately. I put my hands on his neck letting him kiss me.

"'He isn't my type.."

Hyunjin softly kissed my neck. I got up, pushing him away.

"W-what happened?!?"Hyunjin asked trying to hold my hand.

I pulled away from him. "I-I need to be alone!"I said. "Tell me what happened fi-" "please leave!" "Please just te-" "YOU TOLD HIM I WASN'T YOUR TYPE, WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE THIS NOW!?!"I yelled, angry at myself and Hyunjin. But no matter how angry I was I still loved him. I still wanted to embrace him. I still wanted his lips on mine...

Hyunjin gave me a confused look. He sighed and left.
