_____As Nao stood in front of the unfamiliar building she released a heavy sigh, a deep breath she hadn't even realized she'd been holding in. She dreaded being here, halfway through her semester and she was forced to attend what was known as an elitist school from the things she'd heard.
"Your father isn't here any longer, what he wanted for you no longer matters, you'll attend arteste university then do whatever you want from there, but i won't have any member of my family going to some low budget school, even if you aren't my real daughter the press will have a field day."
Her stepmother was hellbent on controlling her life until she could no longer do so, and since she didn't have the funds to pay for school herself, whatever her step mother said went. Fortunately for her she at least had her own home to her name, which meant when it came to life outside of school any control her stepmother held over her ceased to exist. Thankfully her father entrusted with her the old family home to her which she moved into the moment she hit the age of eighteen. A decently sized five bedroom beach house located in Incheon Korea. She hated that she had to be away from her younger brothers, but she took the opportunity to see them whenever she could.
Snapping her from her thoughts a rich voice pulled her out of her momentary dissociation.
"Park Naokei?'' As she turned to face the owner of the unfamiliar voice she found herself staring for far longer than she had intended. Her eyes falling upon a tall and slender man with fair skin, she could spot his muscles peeking out from his shirt, a direct contrast to his handsome statues face that made him appear as if he was sculpted by the gods.
"That's me yes, sorry are you Kang yeosang? I was told you were supposed to be my tour guide?'' she spoke as she pulled her luggage to her side.
"I'm honestly not sure why they chose me to show you around out of all people , but yes that's me." he responds, a hint of confusion and conflict laced within his tone.
"Ah-" not knowing how to respond to his words she simply gave a nod in response as her lips pressed into a thin line, she wasn't really sure how to take what he had just said. As if sensing her sudden change in demeaner panic immediately began to set into Yeosang on the other hand.
"Ah no- I didn't mean it like that. I'm actually terrible with directions. I've attended the university for two years now and I still manage to get lost every time I step out of my dorm.'' He explains, realizing his previous words may have come off as rude. Nao couldn't help but laugh at his sudden blabber, if she had to be honest she and him were exactly alike when it came to directions.
"Well how about we get lost together then.'' She reponds to which Yeosang smiles and makes his way over to her to help her with her luggage.
"I like you already.'' he retorted, and the two of them went on their way.
______________She was now fully settled into her dorm, though she hated that she was being forced to attend a university she knew nothing about. She had to give props to her stepmother for getting her one of the best dorms at the uni. Though each dorm was a private loft unit, hers happened to be located in the second floor at the west wing of the dorm halls, which meant she had a perfect view of the woods and lake behind campus. She hated not staying in her own home , but she did make an agreement and besides it would prove to be far more convenient for her to live on campus rather than driving two hours to incheon and back. Sighing as she plops down onto the couch she thought for a moment about what Yeosang said before he left her alone to get settled in.
"A swim meet hm?''
Usually she would never attend school events, but for once in her life she decided that maybe attending one wouldn't be that bad, only two years remained until she would finally be done with college and she somehow managed to have no friends due to her first two college years in which she would simply hide away at home. Perhaps this was finally her chance to meet new people, besides it seemed she had already found a friend in Yeosang. She wore a fuzzy long sleeve cropped sweater along with a matching skirt which she adorned with charms. Her hair in a simple half updo style, she wore no makeup and simple jewelry since it wasn't like she had been going anywhere that required anything more. Pulling her bag over her shoulder she makes her way out of her dormitory and down the stairs, it wasn't until she realized that she had been walking around aimlessly that she realized she had no idea where she was going, she had already forgotten where Yeosang had told her to go.
"You look like you have no idea where you're going." The unfamiliar girl laughs as she spots the slightly confused look upon Naos face.
"Is it that obvious?" Nao retorts as the other simply laughs.
"Im Soo-ah, you must be new?" She held out her hand which Nao took hesitantly.
"I'm supposed to be meeting with a friend at the pool to watch the swim teams match today, but I honestly have no idea how to get there." She sighs as she slips her phone back into her bag. For a while it was silent between the two of them until Sooah decided to break the ice.
"So today's your first day?" She asks while looking over at Nao who she could tell was feeling somewhat uneasy.
"I actually got here an hour ago, I'm still kind of adjusting since I'm not used to living on a campus." She responds absentmindedly.
