Rain had been pouring down and had been alone at the pool practicing meanwhile all the others at the house had been preparing to go back home for the summer. Amongst the eleven of his TBZ members he was the only one that would not be returning home for the summer break. Not like his parents would care anyways, they were always traveling for work and it wasn't like they ever had time for him anyways. No matter how good he was at swimming, or surfing or whatever it was he loved to do it was never enough to get his parents attention. As he had been making his way up to the surface he could make out the silhouette of someone's body at the side of the pool. When he finally resurfaced he found sooah standing beside the pool.
"This was the place I could always find you when I knew you had a lot on your mind.'' She say, with a slight smile as she hands him a towel.
"Me and Juyeon would have to force you to stop tiring yourself out all the time and actually have some fun.'' At her words Eric laughs as he pushes himself out of the pool and takes a seat beside her after partially drying off with the towel.
"Yeah I remember when you tried to convince him to pull me out and instead of getting me out he ended up falling in.'' he laughs and shakes his head
"What about our first year when we all snuck in here after curfew? Sooah reminisce making the both of them laugh. After their fit of laughter the two were engulfed by a momentary silence.
"I forgive you Eric, It's still not easy for me to fully accept your reason for having abandoned me, but I know for a fact that Since losing all of you things haven't been the same for me. I love Yeosang and Nao of course but they don't compare to my best friend. I'm giving you this second chance so don't blow it because we both know i don't give thirds.''
"Thank you, it means a lot Sooah seriously, and I know things can't immediately go back to the way they were, or things might change completely from her on out, but I want you to know i'd never even think about abandoning you again.''
"Yeah, next time I won't be so nice i might kick your ass and cry about it later.'' she responds as she gets up from her seat on the bleachers.
"I think we both know who's more likely to lose that fight.''
"Whatever Sohn, let's not forget who won between the two of us when we fought for the last ice cream back in senior year of high school.''
"Yeah because you and Chanhee worked together to cheat.''
"I'm starting to think you're a little delusional.'' She responds as she makes her way to the door with a laugh.
"Anyways I need to get going, i'm supposed to be spending the day with nao today before she leaves for the break. Enjoy your obsessive practicing.'' she adds with a smile and a wave as she finally leaves him alone again, alone with his thoughts. Of course he was completely over the moon that Sooah had chosen to forgive him, but after hearing Naos name, it reminded him all over again that she had also been upset with him.
