It turns out Jack Gilinsky came here with his other friend who happened to be named Jack too but calls him Johnson as to not get confused with the names. Johnson was lost too, just like Claire, and Jack just decided to look around." So do you live here?" He asked me, he seemed to have noticed that I speak fluent English with an American accent and I shrugged my shoulders.
" I guess you can say that, my mom lives in Florida but I've lived here since I was 5 and I occasionally visit my mom." I responded, Jack nodded his head in interest and we kept on walking. We've been talking for quite a while now and he seems like a very down to earth person, I would've expected him to stop talking to me but surprisingly he hasn't.
" What about you?" I asked him.
" I'm from Nebraska but I'm going to Paris-Sorbonne University here and school already finished over there so I'm kind of spending summer here before I start to go to college." He shrugged his shoulders and I nodded. Paris-Sorbonne University was a good school and I was very impressed I mean he had to have had so many good credits and grades to go there. My grades were alright, they have varied throughout my high school years but Claire and I tried really hard in our junior and senior years in order to go to a good college.
" My friend and I ditched school today just to go to the Louvre which I think is one of the stupidest ideas ever because she's lost and I can't find her. I don't get the point of ditching in the first place I mean we only have four more days of school left." I complained to Jack, he just stood there catching every word I said as I rambled on about my whole situation.
" I only came here because of the art to be honest. I like to paint and stuff and this place just has a cool and historic feeling to it. The artists used so many different techniques and everything, it would be cool to be one of those famous artists. The only reason I wanted to go to Paris so badly is because of the art and that vibe it has in it, you can't find that in Nebraska." Jack sounded excited about being in Paris and this famous art museum, I find it cute how he looked around as he talked and kept his hands in his pockets, at the end of every sentence he would smile at the ground as if there was something amusing in the environment we were in.
Out of nowhere a blonde boy walked into the room and waved at Jack, I assumed he was Johnson since they both seemed to have already known each other before Johnson walked into the room. Johnson looked at both Jack and I and then gave me a friendly smile. He held out his hand for me to shake and I giggled.
" Who's the pretty girl?" Johnson asked, I blushed at his compliment and he smiled at me once more.
" This is Audrey Cavey, Audrey that's Jack Johnson." Jack told me, the air got kind of awkward and weird but I let it pass. Johnson was continuously smiling at everyone, he seemed so happy all the time and it was honestly very contagious. He would grin at me and then at Jack and we would all be soon grinning like strange pedophiles all together.
Claire was still yet to come and I had the feeling that she probably ditched me. She's been gone for at least an hour now and I was starting to get kind of mad at her because we were supposed to spend this day together but instead I ended up losing her and having to meet new people which I'm not good at. I decided to call her and she picked up on the second ring.
" Where the hell are you?" I asked her on the phone, my voice was filled with annoyance and concern.
" In the museum? Chill out where are you so I can go find you I'm starting to get bored of this place anyways." Claire told me, I rolled my eyes because we spent so much money on these tickets and we practically wasted them.
" In the small pyramid, I'll see you later." I hung up the phone and looked back at both of the Jacks. They were talking to each other about what they were going to do after they left the Louvre.
