[ A/N if you wanna you can listen to the song while you read! It fits the theme of the chapter (: ]

The week has passed off rather slow but I finally finished high school and I'm glad I never have to go to that hell hole ever again.

Apparently there was some party going on right after graduation but Claire and I stayed home and watched Netflix for the rest of the day, then we stopped by a fancy restaurant and ate dinner with my dad. My mom called me and congratulated me and gave an entire speech for me through the phone, making a few tears shed down my face.

It was Saturday now and I was home alone once again. My dad was now in California and I was currently on my living room couch. Sometimes I wish he would take me because I would much rather be enjoying some sun in LA than this cloudy weather down here in Paris.

Claire was spending some time with her mom for the day because her mom said that " she barely sees her anymore." But she was coming over because she wanted to get ready for tonight since we were going to be hanging out with the Jacks and she wanted to look " spontaneous."

Me? I was just planning to wear leggings and a sweater with my ratty old converse. Of course I was going to where makeup because frankly, I need it or else I look like a pig.

I don't know what the Jacks were planning to do but I have a feeling it was going to be some simple walk around the city since they're probably curious about Paris since they're going to college here and everything.

The apartment was dead silent and I wanted to jump out the window because of how bored I was. Wow, I really need more friends. I just couldn't wait until tonight so I could actually do something with my life and not just sit around and mope all day like I usually do when my dad and Claire aren't home.

I only had three options:

1) Go eat

2) Call or text someone

3) Go outside

I guess I could eat but I was scared that if I ate too much I would gain weight and I definitely wanted this summer body. I could text someone? But who? I guess I could text my mom. I could go outside but I don't want to look like a loner and walk in the streets by myself but I could go to the coffee shop and talk to Shawn, so that's what I decided to do.

I put my hair up in a ponytail, grabbed my phone and left the apartment. If Shawn isn't there I'm going to be so done because I walked all this way for nothing.

When I opened the door of the shop I immediately scanned the place to see if Shawn was there and as usual he was right behind the cash register. I waved at him and he gave me a quick smile.

" Hey Shawn." I greeted him, Shawn got out of behind the cash register and hugged my shoulders, he smelled like coffee and cinnamon.

" Hey what's up? Where's Claire?" He asked me, this made me give him a smug look because I know he likes Claire but sadly Claire doesn't realize it.

" I'm okay and she's with her mom." I told him, he nodded his head slowly and he leaned his back against the wall.

" So what were you going to do today besides probably eating everything in your path or watching Netflix?" Shawn joked, I rolled my eyes and shrugged my shoulders.

" I was just going to hang out with Claire and these two guys we met at the Louvre last Monday."

" Claire's going?" He asked, I nodded with a weird smile on my face and he laughed.

" I want to take her out on a date or like just hang out with her one day." Shawn said, I suddenly got excited to tell Claire that Shawn wanted to take her out on a date, I knew she would flip out.
