Prologue

 

"Everyone? I'd like to introduce the new member in the Hyakuya Orphanage," the lady said with a sweet smile on her kind face "his name is Yuichiro Amane. Please be nice to him, we will be his new family from now on." With that said every one of the little ones ran up to greet him with a hug causing them all to fall. The sight was one that made me giggle in amusement.

Walking up to him I held out my hand to help him up "My name is Anju Hyakuya and welcome to our family Yuu-kun." He stared at my hand before scoffing and looking away, by that time Mika was already next to me presenting himself. "Hi, I'm Michaela Hyakuya, I hope we get along as a great family!" he says with a smile never leaving his face.

Looking between the two of them I see Yuu open his mouth as if to speak but close it apparently changing his mind. Seeing that he didn't look like he would talk I walked away to where the young ones were playing only to be called by the guardian to help bring out the food for Yuu's welcome party. Akane gave us a hand with the cups and plates, while I carried the two layered cake we made hoping he might like it. Walking back to the room we saw an arguing Mika and Yuu.

"I don't have a family, my own father tried to kill me and my mother called me a devil child before killing herself! I have no one, so leave-" I stop him by hugging him, stepping back from the hug I smile, "Wow that must be tough, but from now on were all family and family stay together." Mika put a hand on his shoulder and said "Welcome home Yuu-chan."
