"BOOM BOOM BOOM!" The knock was so loud. I turned over, seriously 7:23 A.M. God, can a girl get some sleep around here.
Obviously not! "BOOM BOOM!" I got up and trudged to the door. When I opened it, my dad was standing outside. He said,"The neighbors are going to be gone on vacation for 3 months, they would be willing to pay $60 dollars a day for you to watch their daughter." My heart sank. Yesterday was the last day of school and 3 months would take over my whole summer! Cara wasn't even the typical cute little 7 year old. She was tall and twiggy, with long black hair that went all the way down to her butt. She was pale white and scary. How could I spend 3 months with HER! God she just sits in her room with a wall of creepy dolls. She was NOT a typical 7 year old at all.
"Dad, where are you and mom going to be in this situation? Can't you guys do it?! I'd blow off $60 a day to keep my freedom!" He said, " Me and your mom or going to be on vacation for 4 months, so you'll be staying at their house until we're back." I was so angry. How could he set me up like this? He could have asked me if I wanted go, but no, that's my dad. No freedom, all summer.
