Kaeliegh P.O.V.
I wake up in the middle of the night to Hunter crying. I look at the clock... 2:30 am. I look over at Nathan, Who's still asleep. I decide not to wake him and sneak over to Hunter's nursery. I open the door and see Siva sitting in the rocking chair with Hunter in his arms.
"Hey, Seev. I'm so sorry, Did she wake you?" I ask.
"No, I was up playing Nathan's XBOX when I heard her crying. I didn't want either of you to get up. So, I came in here and fed her." He says, Pointing to an empty bottle next to him.
"That's amazing, Siva. Thank you." I say.
"Normally I wouldn't know how to fix a bottle.. But, I've seen Nathan do it. I tried and she drank the whole thing. I guess I succeeded." He laughs.
"I'd say you probably did." I tell him. Just then, Nathan stumbles into the room.
"Well, Hello sleeping beauty." I laugh.
"Is she okay?!" He asks.
"She's fine. Seev already had fed her by the time I got in here." I tell him. Nathan walks over and Siva gives Hunter to him.
"Hi baby girl." He whispers. He rocks her back and forth until her eyes start to close. Nathan starts singing to her.
I'll be your Hero, Who's standing strong.
Who'll protect you from any fight.
And if your battles are piling on, I will take them on with all my might.
Cry your tears, On my shoulder.
You don't know what the future holds,
So I'll be your personal soldier.
He kisses her forehead and carefully lays her in her crib. He covers her up with a blanket that Jess made for her and walks out of the door, Quietly shutting it behind him. Siva walks downstairs and Nathan and I walk back to our bedroom.
"You're such a good daddy." I say.
"No, I'm really not. But, I'm trying." He says.
"Nath, Do you remember when we were fighting about the whole 'Issue'? And who won that fight?" I ask.
"You." He mumbles.
"Exactly. You're not going to win this either. You are an amazing dad. And you're going to be an amazing husband. I know that for a fact. So, Shut up and lay down." I say. I lay down on my side and he lays on his stomach. As soon as I close my eyes, Hunter starts crying. I get up and open the door as Siva and Jay are running up the stairs.
"I''ve got it, Lads!" I say. I open her door and walk over to her crib. I pick her up and carry her into Nath and I's room. I sit down on the bed next to Nathan and he opens his eyes.
"Hi baby." He says, Taking her into his lap. She stops crying immediately. She's definately a Daddy's girl
