The past two months went by without much of change from how the first day went. He woke up went for a short run came home and studied until lunch, then studied till dinner, and lastly after dinner studied till lights out. It was boring and he made little to no progress. He has a very basic understanding of how to read the language but he has to have a translation sheet next to him. A light of salvation came in the form of letters from back home in Russia. Once a week he would get a letter from Winry and the old granny, and a letter from Riza bi-weekly to give some basic information on how she, Roy, and his father is doing.

Aizawa near the end of the second month started to give Izuku quizzes that were like a mock of the entrance exam quiz to help him practice his Japanese. Over all Izuku was well prepared for the entrance exam and was quite excited for it. He hadn't come into contact with anyone his age for a few years now and he wouldn't admit it but it did make him feel kind of lonely.

We see Izuku as he is preparing pasta for dinner. As he's preparing it Aizawa bursts through the door "Hey moss head, we're going to UA right now." Izuku turned off the stove so he could look at Aizawa "I'm sorry sir but why?" Aizawa looked at him for a second before responding "well you see do you know where it is?" "No" "Do you know what it looks like?" "Also no" "and do am I going to be there with you" "no sir" "exactly so let's go so you can actually get to the exam." With that sentence he grabs Izuku by the neck of his shirt and dragged him out and to the car.

They were 20 minutes down the road when it finally hit Izuku "hey why didn't you just give me a map or directions?!" Aizawa turned a corner and got out from the long line of buildings that obscured their view. This revealed a large building made completely of glass in the shape of a H. "Because you need to get out of the house. And I need to get a few things ready in my classroom. You won't be able to go inside but you can wonder around the town while I do that.". 15 minutes later and they arrived at the doorstep of UA high school. Looking up at the grand building Izuku felt a little nauseous "well Izuku this is where you will be going to school. It's big I know but g we used to it. Anyways be back here by 8 even. I don't want to waste time looking for you okay?" "Understood sir" Without hesitation Izuku plopped himself out of the car and sprinted towards the city.

He was beyond mesmerized by all the glowing signs. He had seen them from afar on that first night and out his window but to be this close made his heart skip a beat. He could understand the words but he loved every second.  He wondered around for a bit and bumped into a guy with glasses. In a bit of broken Japanese Izuku said an apology "I'm sorry so" the boy looked at Izuku and chuckled a little "don't worry about it. My names Tenya Iida. What's yours?" Izuku scrambled a little to grab his translation book. After a minute of looking at it with a bit of broken speech again he responded with "Izuku Elric is name my. Japanese is language second. Started two months learning ago." Iida stood there for a second trying to register what he just heard. "So your names Izuku elric?" After another second got a nod "okay so where do you come from?" A few seconds later "Russia" "oh not many people from Russia. I don't know Russian so I can't really make this conversation easier for you sorry. But it was nice meeting you. Goodbye and I hope to see you again." Before Izuku could even start to translate Iida was gone.

Feeling somewhat defeated after having the worst conversation of his life he slumped back to the car. He was early by a little bit so he just sat there studying the little book of Kanji that he has on him. After only a few minutes Aizawa came out with the car and rolled down the window "Izuku time to go." Izuku walks around the car and got in the passenger seat. "I don't think I'm ready for tomorrow." "Why's that?" "I just had a conversation with someone that looked to be around my age and I could barely understand anything" "well you are trying to learn a really hard language in 2 months so maybe that's why you could barely understand anything." "I guess your right." Now cheer up. When we get home I'll tell you what each activity is so your not going in blind." Izuku smiled a little at that news but he was still a little to anxious.
