the next day

the alarm had a shrilling tone digging into my ear, it was time to get ready. i got out if bed and started changing into the school hoodie and a pair of jeans. i sighed. what was that dream about? well, nevermind, i should get going now.

i took off and got to school 5 minutes before the bell rang. in my classroom, a few friends showed up at my table, " y/n! you were almost late on our first day after the christmas break!'

"was i? i was late up playing genshin last night, with ali." i answered

"alicia? huh, what's genshin?"

"it's a free to play game. you guys should try it so we can play together! i'll create a group and we can play together!"

"alright! i'll text you when i get home."

i sighed and went on with my day. we had a new subsituite teacher, ms. akane. she was our new homeroom teacher since our original teacher was sick and was stuck at home.

"okay class! we'll be starting literacy. hm... y/n! please read this out." she asked me

i stood up, "'just promise me that you wont hate me' keefe sighed. "i promise, thats a promise i would never break, keefe." sophie replied-" that was the last thing i remember until i fainted.

it was probably because of nausea. i didnt have breakfast since i was in such a rush.

"oh, you're awake!" the school nurse, catian said.

"oh... what happened?"

"nausea. did you not eat before coming to school? i'd call your parents."

"im an orphan." sad tragic story. its boring, trust me. i dont want to remember it again.

"oh, right, sorry about that."

"its fine. im heading home now."

"i'll notify your teacher about this. have a safe trip home!"

i left the office without a word. i just wish mom could be at home, taking care of me and me telling her my worries. too bad she passed a few months ago. she had too much pressure.

anyways, i have a few hours before my shift part-time at the cafe.

it starts at 3:00 pm.

i'll leave at 8:00 pm and grab some meat and vegetables at the market.

get back home before 8:30 and start cooking the food and take a bath within 15 minutes. eat. play genshin for an hour. sleep.

go to school.

that has been my schedule since my mom and dad passed. i didnt get to see my dad much since he was always overseas for work. he died overseas because of a suicidal bomber.

i got home and read until my alarm of 5:30 pm to get ready for work rang. i took my necessities and got ready to get to work!!!

at the cafe

ajax, my new colleague annoyed me much. i've reported to my manager a few thousand tiems already. in fact, he looks like childe. blue eyes, stupid ginger and that stupid personality.

i started to think that he was actually childe and was incarnated to the real world after being defeated by me. he appeared after a few days of me defeating him. funny coincidence, huh?

after working

"hey hey y/n, wanna play genshin after you get home?" ajax asked.

"no i have to play with my friends. bye." i said, annoyed

"awhhh, bye then."

he has to stay for another hour. good. lets see... the market. oh, here we are.

as i entered, alicia appraoched me.

"WAH- you're here, again." i mocked.

"yeah, i mean, your schedule is easy to guess, its the same everyday. here, i bought you your usuals."

"oh, i'll pay you back later. i need to go and play genshin with my friends now. wanna play, too? only 2 of them were available."

"sure!! let me see your wanderer build."

at home

i quickly cooked up some food and opened my pc while eating my food, too! multi-tasking, you know.
