We sat in a huge hall. My eyes roamed from left to right as I examined everyone. I was so intrigued as I saw different hair colours and cloth styles.

As I glanced around, I met a pair of blue eyes. We stared at each other for a period of time.

"Hazel", Tina called, causing me to break eye contact.

"Hmm", I replied, trying to locate those eyes.

"Hazel", Tina called louder.

"Yes", I finally looked at her.

She waved a letter in my face with the same smell as earlier.

"You know who sent it", she smiled as she placed the letter.

"Is that where you have been?", I asked, noticing that she had not been with me.

"Hmm", she nodded as she sat on my shoulder. She waved her hand, urging me to open the letter.

"Pushy", I whispered, as I flipped it open.

Hazel, let's skip the unnecessary greets and all, and get some things straight.

You are actually really dumb – literally the dumbest person in the room – so I got special classes arranged for you; he will contact you. follow his instructions if you don't want to be puffed out of this world.

Next up, I made you the representative of the Aphrodite group. In short, that means that you are in charge, similar to a class captain or a sport captain. Good luck being a leader.

Lastly, your mark will be arriving today, and you'll be in a lot of pain similar to extreme period pain. You might also get easily irritated and feel like stabbing someone.

I wouldn't advice you to go around telling people that you are from Earth. I also won't contact you for a while so don't expect anything. Other materials needed will be provided by Tina and your advisor.

Toodles,

Aphrodite.

I reminisced about the part about the mark. "How bad can it be?"

"You'll see", Tina said with a devilish smirk.

"You don't look human with that face", I said.

"Literally, honey", she smiled as she crossed her legs and glanced at the stage causing me to look. the lights on the stage had been turned on and a tall handsome man with red hair and dark skin had walked unto the stage with a cold expression on his face, making him look like a mafia leader dressed in a tux. As he held the microphone the hall became so silent that a pen can drop and echo a couple of times.

"Thank you all for attending the orientation program", he began, looking around with a smile that was anything but human – it made Tina's smile look beautiful in comparison.

"We are all children of the great Olympic gods and are great warriors against the darkness. The titans who control the darkness have caused great harm to humans and the great gods", he paused and looked around, "but now is our time to shine and I hope that you first year students will continue to fight the forces of evil. Thank you."

A sounding wave of applause rang as he walked away with so much confidence in him. I stared as he descended down, and he caught my eye and we had eye contact. I looked away for a second, and when I turned back, there was an upward curve to his mouth as he continued to walk away.

"Hazel Graviete", my name rang through the hall, snapping me out of my thoughts. I stood up and saw many people staring at me in awe, making me feel self-conscious. I nervously made my way up to the stage.
