Exodus: The fall of Hazel

I clenched my chest as I sat on a beach at beach. The sea breeze puffed my hair as the memories of my last betrayal clouded my mind stopping me from enjoying the lovely sunset,

"why me" I yelled at the top of my lungs,

"Raphel, why did you do this to me, to us," I asked myself lightly,

Only the gush of the wind sounded had responded to my question. My eyes leaked water as I continuously replayed my nightmare.

FLASHBACK

"Hazel" he called yet another girl stuck close to him,

" Raphel" I paused and took a deep breath" I loved you and you claimed to love me. Today, I see another girl beside you holding onto you like she means the world to you. My only question where is the love you promised to give, huh?" ,

His brown eye's that once held love for me had turned to face someone else. I look at his new girlfriend and saw an emotion that I am used to mockery, how could I not know that emotion when all I live is all I received? and it's funny how I do not know her but you do not need to know who mocks you for them to do so,

I laughed at my misery and my life. I lost my family at a young age then my relative took all my money, after a while, I stable myself and got a job but I lost that, and now my lover. Tears dripped down and I couldn't blame anyone for all I have suffered,

"Raphel, I wish you a good life," I said as I never looked back.

END OF FLASHBACK

Night sunk in at the beach, and I gazed at the sky. The stars twinkled brightly yet they could never outshine the moon similarly I tried to shine but in the end, I was outshined.

" mum told me that if you work hard that the ones who rule the world will guide you. Was the problem my hard work because I am sure I put a lot of effort into that?" I questioned as I looked up,

"you tried, Honey" a calm soothing voice answered my question resulting in a little fright

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you" the lady apologize but I was too memorized by her beauty to speak,

She was dressed in a baby pink suit and pencil heels with added highlight to her well flourished skin giving off some sort of glow. I stared into her eye trying to catch the color,

"ouch" I exclaimed in pain

" I advise not looking into my eyes, child" she giggled as she found a spot beside me,

I couldn't help but notice her flowing blonde her and her well-defined face, and fuck she had no makeup on,

"Gorgeous" I whispered out

"I get that a lot but thank you either way" she smiled

I couldn't help but wonder why such a beauty sit down beside me,

"your face shows what you are thinking right now, so let's not beat around the bush," she said seriously

"let's make a deal, darling" she offered

"why" I blurted out,

" honestly, I don't know" she cut me off before I could start" but I do like you never give up nature it's rare to find such a gem" she smiled at me as she continued " life gave you mountains to climb and that you did and even when you fall you never give up. right now it's sad to see you do so"

"ohh I see so it's out of pity" I commented

" if someone gives you pity take it and turn it into something worth it, so what do you say," she asked again

and without thinking or asking about the deal

"yes" I replied

"Great, but let's chip in something" she winked

"chip in?" I rose an eyebrow

"revenge," she said

"no" I replied instantly

she looked with curiosity

" if I fall because of someone I don't aim to make that person fall, rather I will become stronger so the person will not be able to fall" I smiled as I remembered my mother letting such,

She smiled back as she got up without a grain of sand on her. she had me quite a distance before I realized I never asked about the deal or her name. As I tried to call her, she turned back and said something I couldn't hear before bursting into particles of light.

I stood there stunned before I could react any futher, black spots invaded my vision while my ears buzzed with noises. as the darkness took over, I heard the lady's voice call a name "Aphrodite"
