I know now that I'm dying. But at least it's a beautiful day.
I ended up at a park and stopped in the grass, surrounded by trees. I think I'm under an Oak actually. So beautiful and big. I'm really thankful that the sky is blue and the sun is out because it makes me feel a little better about leaving this world. As I feel the dewy grass underneath me and the sun shining down on me, so warm and bright, I think I'm ready for whatever comes next.
My life hasn't been very long but I did well despite everything. Even in the pouring rain I kept going. I made friends with the frogs and the bugs and the lonely women at the bus stop. I hope they felt a little less lonely with me there.
I've done my part and I don't know, I think it's pretty darn cool that I'll eventually just break down and become part of the organic matter that feeds the trees. Or whatever else happens, I'm okay with it.
Eventually the sun gets brighter and everything becomes a lot more blurry and you know what, I'm okay with that too.
I hope they'll remember my name.
