beomgyu was feeling confident today. it was another school day, he had already sent a letter for the month, but he just could not wait to send the next.

he looked at the letter in his hand, a familiar voice was heard coming closer to him. he looked up and quickly hid behind the locker and embraced the letter, he sighed as the bell rang.

'i'll just go after class then..'

huening kai was walking with soobin to his locker to get his jacket. he laughed at a joke the older made. luckily, the two got over their disagreement from a few days back.

he smiled as they took the turn to their locker, he could've sworn he saw a brunette holding a letter, specifically; the same looking letter he receives.

huening kai stopped walking and blinked. he cut off their conversation.

"and that's why i think taehyun and yeonjun are both dumb. nevermind, there's more. they both are soooo gay for each other. sure i admit im jealous but-"

"wait! shhhh shh shh!" he covered soobins mouth, muffling his words.

"did you see that?"

"she wat?" the older replied, huening kais hands still on his mouth.

"that!" he whisper-yelled, pointing at the place he saw the person. he didn't wait for a reply, he simply ran to the corner to be met by nothing.

"what are you on?" soobin asked, following behind huening kai and looking over the corner, "there's nothing there"

"he- they were here! i swear! i saw it!" huening kai yelled, the bell suddenly rang.

soobin covered his ears "goddamn bell" he mumbled to himself, "let's get to class" he dragged huening kai out the locker room. although he didn't get his jacket, he didn't mind, because for the rest of the day, his mind was focused on one thing; he was one step closer to finding out who sent him these letters.

beomgyu kept waiting until the end of the day, it felt like forever until the final bell rang. finally!

he rushed to the lockers and peeked over the corner. seeing that huening kai and that other dude didn't arrive yet. he took the opportunity to slip the letter through the small gaps of the locker.

he was about to turn around and leave– when suddenly he was met with a broad chest.

he bumped into someone- HE BUMPED INTO SOMEONE?!

he looked up to be met by huening kais best friend.

"uh-"

soobin gasped, his eyes wide open and hands over his mouth. they both stared at each other for a while before a familiar voice was heard approaching them.

soobin looked to the corner and took beomgyu's hand. he dragged him behind the other lockers and peered over the corner to see huening kai walking over to his locker with taehyun and yeonjun.

he laughed as he talked with his two elders.

"so when are you two gonna out yourselves?" he asked and they stopped talking. yeonjun choking on his own saliva.

"w-what are you talking about-?" they both coughed.

huening kai laughed at them as they reached his locker. "im kidding!" they sighed, "unless there's something going on between you two?"

they share glances and look away with a blush.

"n-no?" taehyun said.

"yeah- no! no yeah exactly.. Hah! w-why would you even think that? that's just crazy" he went on and on until taehyun hit him lightly on the shoulder.

obviously something was going on between the two, but they didn't want to admit it (although it was clear already)

huening kai opened his locker and there sat the letter with the pink ribbon. his heart skipped a beat and it seemed like every sound was starting to drown in silence. his focus was all on that letter.

'another letter? but then this would mean it's the second letter of the month? could it be that they would stop sending me letters? i haven't found out who you are yet! don't stop! you don't know how these make my day! please don't stop sending me these-'

"huening kai?" taehyun tapped his shoulder. he turned to him and smiled. "what's wrong? you've been staring in your locker for two minutes" yeonjun spoke up. he simply shook his head and smiled.

"it's nothing" he closed his locker, not forgetting to take one last glance at the letter which was practically begging to be read "lets go" he wrapped his arms around the two boys

soobin dragged beomgyu out the locker room. "so you're the one who keeps sending him letters! ugh im so glad you're not a girl."

beomgyu tilted his head with a big blush. "why are you happy I'm not a girl?"

"because he's always been wishing that the person who sends him letters was his prince charming. a 'hottie' who's into books and hello kitty" soobin chuckled.

beomgyu blushes 'i love hello kitty..' "uh- yeah- haaahha!! i- uh i-im not the one sending him letters? what are you talking about? pshh!" he chuckled awkwardly scratching his neck. soobin just watched him with his arms crossed.

one beomgyu realized he wasn't falling for it, he gave up and stayed quiet.

"are you done? okay. huening kai wants you to confess before graduation."

beomgyus eyes widen "WHAT?! confess?! no can do! i- i cant do that, he probably won't like me! he probably doesn't even know me!" he went on and on before soobin shushed him.

"you talk too much" he laughed, "anyway. you have to! it's been his dream to meet the person behind the letters! your letters are beautiful and he loves you despite the fact he doesn't know you"

beomgyu paused, he rubbed the back of his neck and gulped. "i.." he looked at soobin and he older just stared back.

"i send him letters because i can't confess.. i thought letting him know through ink on paper would let my feelings go away but.. it seems my plan backfired and i ended up liking him more.." he looked down and rubbed his feet together while playing with his fingers.

"so what's your plan?" soobin asked.

beomgyu took a deep breath before looking up at soobin

"to wait for graduation and move to a different university so i wont see him and he wont be bothered by my letters ever again"
