huening kai rushed to soobins apartment, tears flowing non-stop and as he knocked on the door aggressively.

"who is it?" he heard soobins voice.

"hyung.." kai whimpered softly. he door slowly opened and he fell into the arms of his best friend still in tears.

"kai!? what happened?!" the boys fell to the ground of the doorway ; huening kai huddled up in soobins arms as the older sat on the floor beneath the younger.

he couldn't tell what happened to him, but when he looked at that familiar pink envelope, his eyes darkened.

"let's go inside-"

"no hyung- they left! they're gone! i-i dont know them yet! hyung i can't let them go!" huening kai gripped soobins shirt tightly his knuckles turned white.

"okay okay- we'll solve this. right now let's go inside okay?" huening kai nods, tears still falling staining soobins shirt.

they reached the living room and sat down on the foam.

huening kai wiped his tears and laid down on the foam and soobin sat next to him.

there was a moment of silence before huening kai spoke up.

"they finally realized i wasn't good enough" he mumbled, but soobin heard it. his eyebrows furrowed.

"dont say that hyuka! you're perfect in every way. there no such thing as 'not good enough' when it comes to you. whoever this person is" he took the letter from the foam next to kai's head, "they don't deserve you. they gave up too easily for someone like you. you deserve everything and more huening kai! so don't doubt yourself because of a stupid letter written by some stupid guy" soobin threw the letter across the room.

huening kai looked at that letter, by now his tears dried up. he looked back at the older and soobin does the same, makin eye contact with each other.

"is this the part where you tell me you've been in love with me since elementary?" the two laughed until soobin felt huening kai sit up.

he mumbled something under his breath. soobin quirked a brow. "kai?"

"did you say.. guy?"
