Now I am more puzzled that he was, what can a defiled person do to be chosen by the Gemini Project? with a puzzled face I asked,

"What can being a Defiled can do to be chosen for the Gemini Project."

he look away and sigh as if he disappoint,

"So you didn't knew, Defiled people are the ones that's been violated or corrupted by a 'Parasitic God' which made them produce more 'God Seeds' than most people that made them more compatible for being 'God Arm' wielder, with that in mind, it's more unusual if the chosen wielder isn't Defiled?".

With that in mind, I surpass the odds that even a Defiled can only have but he wasn't finish yet thus he continued,

"And one more thing, Don't underestimate the 'Gods' and if you do, you'll sure to lose an arm or two"

then he quickly lay on his bed and said,

"That's all, Good night.",

the way he did it made me slightly pissed.

With him asleep, there is nothing left to do so I lift the blanket on my bed and get ready to sleep but Valarr suddenly said while facing the wall,

"I almost forgot, Welcome to Seiryu, It's nice to have more comrades.",

that got me by surprise, Valarr seem to be treated terribly by his subordinates but still grateful to have new ones, with that curiosity I asked him,

"Hey, Valarr.",

as soon as he heard his name, he turned and quickly said,

"What? do you have questions? I'll gladly answer any questions?".

He strangely have glimmering sparkles in his eye with excitement unlike his usual cold stares, it made me laughs a little because of the drastic change. He said any question so I didn't hold back on asking,

"Well, I want to know why the others discriminate you?".

He became silent but proceeds to reply,

"It'll be for the best for you to know now than later, I am a Defiled, right?",

I nod then he continues,

"With that, I'll ask you this, Aren't you disgusted to someone that been violated and used by the 'Gods' as their slave or host. Most of my body are already filled with 'God Seeds' the very component that makes a 'God', in that regard, I am more or less a monster like the 'Gods', now I'll asks you, will you stand being with a monster?",

he describe his own hate towards himself, even me that known him for just a hour, could feel the sincerity in his voice, I tried to change the topic but made it worst by asking,

"But that's not enough to hate you that much right, maybe there is a another reason, like casualties?",

I didn't think I am this insensitive. He became silent once again that made me hate myself for asking him so many personal things but he still answers,

"Well it's common to hate someone that can't protect his comrades.",

then he look away from me and faced the wall, that ends our conversation for tonight, well I need to rest for tomorrow so I close my eyes and sleep but I heard his voice as if it came from within my mind, "Not everyone wants to be protected".

I woke up and waited for further instructions while Valarr's bed was already empty then an unfamiliar voice knocked on the door and said,
