Seiryu Mountain Range, Cave 3/25/2035 – 8:28 AM

It's already been two days since we suddenly got attacked by some mysterious group of Imperial Arm users.  I think of them as mysterious, but it's clear as day that they are from the Purist faction or I hope they weren't cause they're the same as Robert and Jessica, people who clings on their beliefs. Everyone just wants to survive, then a question pop to my mind,

"Why do we have to fight humans? I became a Godslayer to fight and kill Gods, so why would I have to face an Imperial arm users and ready to kill?",

I know to myself that.

"If I have the slightest will to live",

"I need to survive",

"To survive, I need to kill those who want to kill me"

And those are,

"The Purist and the Imperials",

With that in mind, I face Valarr that's still in a miserable state, to think he intentionally rupture his own organs to increase his power level just to drop an enormous sword, but in exchange we got out of such dire situation without any casualties.

It was clear that Valarr did it to save us, but he prioritizes me for some reason. He could've let Richard guard him back then, but he chooses me to do the easiest part of the operation. I only need to defend him, compared to Chelsea's role to lure the whole horde of 'God' in one place, Richard's role of killing any 'God' that came too close to Chelsea and Valarr's role to unleash a devastating power to kill all the 'God' in one strike.

Adding the memories I suddenly recover right after Valarr's kiss, I couldn't imagine that we've met years ago, but why doesn't he mention anything about the past? Does he even remember a thing?

Leaving the subject for now, I walk out of the cave and proceed down to the riverside to gather some water, Richard and Chelsea had gone and finish our mission with just the two of them, initially this mission was easy enough to be dealt with just one 'Godslayer' alone, that's why Richard and Valarr had their guard up two days ago to prevent anyone of us to get hurt. They knew something is wrong on the way things transpired that day.

To think the 'Purist' hate toward us 'Godslayers' runs this deep enough to even plot an ambush while in a mission, it made me recall the little girl that looks like the younger me that made me ask.

"Is she my 'God-self'? Or was she something entirely different",

Preoccupied be all sorts of question, I couldn't even sense that a 'God' has been already a meter near to me, and it's not just an ordinary one, it possesses a mud like appearance and it's enormous, its body couldn't even fit the river bank.

On instinct alone, I made 'Crimson Desire' appear. As my blood unconsciously boils like it's a natural reaction towards them, but why wouldn't I be enraged by them, they've killed so many of my comrades. Countless people  died because of them, so why I am so conflicted?

"Gods are beings that choose to prioritize Survival to the point they don't even have the ability to choose anything other than that. Compared to us, humans are no different",

My hand shakes as I try to aim at its head, my mind can't concentrate and my vision starts to blur.

"They killed too many of us, They killed Robert and Jessica",
