Waking up as the sun rises, I view the nearby lake we found yesterday after Delson recovered from his fever, he sure was a great help scouting a vast amount of land in just half a day, at first I was anxious to leave the spring cause we have no other water supply and it was by chance to even find such fresh water spring.

Despite finally found a large enough landmark to retrieve us from, our Communicator only receive are static, we can't inform the nearest base of our situation and recently, we're encountering less of the 'infected' than ever, I suspect that it was the 'Kandata' we ran into yesterday was responsible, but I personally relief that it was already died I don't really want to face it, cause we are in no condition of even fight a 'God'.

As I worry myself to death then I suddenly heard some splashing and saw both Jessica and Irina enjoying themselves at the lake side while Delson go on fishing for our breakfast but to think that Irina would warm up to Jessica despite what how she treated her right after they met, well to start with Irina was neither an 'Imperial' nor a 'Godslayer' so she have been through rough times without anyone, so the sight of her enjoying herself is something she deserve, to think that my sob story made them really close despite not being my intention in the first place,

"Haha",

Laughing as I thought of my initial motive was for her to understand more about us 'Imperials' but it just made her cry and made me look as the bad guy in Jessica's eyes. She was always soft when it comes to crying children, she doesn't even care if the child was 'Defiled' or not but when it comes to 'Godslayers' she suddenly get piss by just look at them, it's must be the reason she was piss the first time she and Irina met.

After stretching a bit I head to Delson and try to help him catch fish cause it may take a while to even have enough for all of us, as I approach him, he quickly hand me a well made fishing rod without looking, I was genuinely surprise but I asked him,

"How on earth you made two fishing rods and where did you get a thread?",

He calming waits for the fish to bite while he answers,

"Remember the corpse of that 'Kandata' we stumble upon yesterday, I used some of it's web as thread and it was really hard to avoid getting cut by it",

'Kandata' was the half spider god that was named after the character from the story The Spider's Thread, it's strength depends on it's gender if the the early stages of it's life it roams to find someone to be it's host, depending on the gender of the host will be it's gender, it's notorious of a 'Female Kandata' to create a huge lair to constantly infect other with it's poison and to gave birth to other 'Kandatas' as well.

To think a 'Kandata' was just defeated like that, As we stumble upon it, we saw that it had two large bite marks indicating that the skirmish was completely violent, consider that a normal 'Kandata' has the power level between 3000 to 4000,

As I think about the 'Kandata' Delson asked me something,

"Robert, do you think that a 'God' is jamming our Communicators?",

To be honest, there many 'Gods' that has the ability to jam our signals most of them are mutated 'Jormungandrs, Valkyries and Pak' but those aren't native in these area, their impossible to be here in general.

The reason why 'Byakko' is so confident to even forbid any 'Godslayer' to be stationed here is the existence of the 'False Yggdrasil' or commonly named 'Syndrasil', it's located in between the former North and South American continent which made it possible to occupy the entire northern continent cause it can repel most of the 'Gods'.
