Byakko, 2nd Desert Base - 6/21/2030 - 2:54 PM

After being assigned to this desert base 2 months ago, I still remain uncaring toward anyone even the people I fight along side with, despite no communication between comrade, I still do the job, slaying small 'Gods' that roam the area.

Now I am once again stationed to another base from the northern regions. Byakko is a country that stand on the former land called American, both of there norther and south regions were infested by rampaging 'Defiled people' that got infected by venomous 'Gods' that were notorious in Byakko, 'Imperial Arms' are more suited for engaging them rather than 'God Arms' .

Then Professor Alexander Sylum came into my room and ran the usual check up, he was the only professional researcher that took me under his supervision despite me being the most unsuccessful specimen of the renowned 'Summer's Pride Initiative' that was discontinued because of the tragedy that led to it's down fall, he also informed me of my new task,

"It seem that your going to be reassign once again, the team that's going to retrieve you will arrive soon so pack you things as soon as possible",

I obliged without speaking any word, cause I don't have anything to say, I am just a failed specimen that's made to kill 'Gods' and that what I do and there is no need for a reason to have any form of motive nor goal in such task.

After pick up my things in my room I head straight to the lobby where I lay in wait for the people that'll escort me to the next base. Sitting here in the lobby with a huge crate that holds all of my 'Imperial Arms', cause of my combat capabilities I was given a huge amount of 'Gun type Imperial Arms' that was too dangerous to normal people to be using because of the there high difficulty on using.

One of them is the 'Detonator' which shoots out a pistol like bullet but detonates quick after it hits anything, that made it dangerous because the scale of the explosion is yet to be determine, the other one is called the 'Cracker' , which is identical to the 'Detonator' but has a smaller explosions compared to it but it's dangerous because the explosion slowly stacks up when it hits one target which is unpredictable cause it's a sub-machine gun.

There are more of these dangerous 'Imperial Arms' in my disposal to test them in the field while surviving each day, normally sending one 'Imperial Arm user' is impossible but I am technically a 'Godslayer' that don't have a 'God Arm' so that is the reason why they send me out on the field, either become a decoy for the main squadron to eliminate the target or to dive straight to the front lines.

But I was never had face a really 'God' myself, most of the threat here in Byakko is the vast 'Defiled people' that got severely poisoned by the 'Gods' , that they fall victim to which cause them to lose all of their brain function except their desire to eat others.

As I indulge myself in the subject my escort finally arrive, two men that look like they're in their late 20s along with a woman that seem like she in her early 20s, the tallest guy introduce himself in a rather loud fashion,

"Hi I am Robert Hamburg, I am in charge of safely escorting you to your next destination, unfortunately we're going to use land transportation cause all the helicopters are taken",

Annoyed by his loud voice, I replied and scolded him while I do it,

"I thank you for your time, but please refrain from speaking at such volume, I am right in front of you, sir, so there is no need to speak that way",

Then of course someone will be pissed at me and it was the woman with them spoke then voice she complains,

"Hey, you! How dare you speak to us with a tone like! You should be grateful to even be escorted, you 'Godslayers' have all the leisure to go in and out of Byakko but your just filthy monster that accepted the taint of those fiends!",
