Hayden POV
Me and Henry are sitting at a booth waiting for Emma Henry gave her a shirt.
"Thanks for the shirt. Hey, is this your mother's?" Emma asked as she sat across from us.
"She'll never notice." Henry said I smirked
"Where does she think you are, anyway?" Emma asked him
" Playing Whac-A-Mole with Hayden ." He said
" And she bought that?Where does your dad think you are?" She said
"At the library." I said smirking
Emma shakes her head
"they want to believe it, so they do." Henry said I nodded
" Oh, imagine that." Emma said
(Mary Margaret enters the diner.)
" She's here." Henry said
" Hey, don't get your hopes up. We're just getting started, okay?" She said to the both of us.
Mary Margaret sits down.
" He woke up." She said
" What?" Emma asked
" I knew it." Henry said
" I mean, he didn't "wake up" wake up, but he grabbed my hand." Mary Margaret said
" He's remembering!" I said looking at Henry who nodded
" What did the doctor say?" Emma said
"That I imagined it, but I'm not crazy. I know it happened." Mary Margaret said
"We have to go back. You have to read to him again." Henry said
"Let's go." She said
" Wait, wait what?" Emma said
Me and Henry are already out the door not caring what they are saying
We arrive at the hospital
" You're right—he's waking up." Henry said as he had a hold of my hand
"Henry,Hayden you both should stay back." Graham said
"What's going on? Is it John Doe? Is he okay?" Mary Margaret said
"He's missing. " Graham spoke
(they notice that Regina is in John Doe's room. Regina sees them, and approaches them.)
"What the hell are you doing here? And you – I thought you were at the arcade. Now you're lying to me?" Regina said
"I'm with Hayden, That counts right?' Henry said Regina just glared
" What happened to John Doe? Did someone take him?" Mary Margaret asked
" We don't know yet. His IVs were ripped out but there's no sign for sure there's a struggle." Graham spoke
" What did you do?" Henry asked I winced
"You think I had something to do with this?" Regina asked
"It is curious that the mayor is here." Emma said
" I'm here because I'm his emergency contact." Regina said
"You know him?" Mary Margaret asked
"I found him. On the side of the road years ago with no ID. I brought him here." Regina explained
"Mayor Mills saved his life." Dr. Whale finished
" Will he be okay?" Mary Margaret asked
" Okay? The man's been on feeding tubes for years on constant supervision. He needs to get back here right away or, quite honestly, "okay" might be a pipe dream." Dr Whale explained
" Well then, let's quit yapping and start looking." Emma said
"That's what we're doing? Just stay out of this, dear. And since I clearly can't keep you away from my son, I guess I'm just going to have to keep my son away from you. Enjoy my shirt, because that's all you're getting. Sheriff, find John Doe. You heard Dr. Whale. Time is precious. Hayden your coming too I'll be explaining to your father what you've been doing as well," Regina said we all leave
Oh man and I just got ungrounded I thought
After Regina ratted me out dad ordered me up to my room for many reasons, Lying and following into Henry's fantasy's and all of the above
I sat on my bed and decided to read one of my favorite books.

I walked up to Hayden's room to see her fast asleep with a book between her arms. I cover her up with a chuckle. And take the book from her, If only she knew the irony of this book, But she must never know the truth, that is why Henry feeding her the truth is such a dangerous thing. I thought
I kissed her on the forehead
"Sorry my little song bird but you must never know the truth." I whispered and walked down the stairs.
