Anyways- CHAPTER TIME
--Amanda's POV---
My eyes slowly opened to the sound of knocking on my door, I yawned and sat up, walking to the door. When I opened it, William was standing there. He looked at me, a confused look taking shape on his face.
"Umm- why aren't you dressed?" He asked, pointing to my pajamas. "The meeting starts in 5 minutes."
"What?!" I scream, running across the room and grabbing some clothes. He laughs as I struggle to find something and walks out of the room, saying something like 'I'll be back in 2 minutes'
I quickly slip into black leggings, and a golden summer dress and grab some sort of yellow shoes. I run into the hallway and William and I run to the "Family meeting"
We run into the doors with bare seconds to spare and swiftly sit in our seats.
My grandfather was sitting at the head of the table- glaring at me. Whats up with this guy anyway? I shift my eyes to the wall to avoid further contact with him- am I supposed to be scared of him? Because the last time I checked- granddaughters usually aren't afraid of their grandfathers-
"You can't!" William screamed, bringing my thoughts back into reality.
"Can't what?" I whisper to William as Bill starts to yell a few things.
"Weren't you listening at all?" He whispers back.
"No. What was he saying-" I start, but I'm cut off by my supposed "Grandfather"
"Look- will you do it or not?!" He yells at me angrily.
"Umm- I..." I start nervously.
----Williams POV----
As the meeting starts, Yoru (I switched the grandfathers name because honestly- "John" isn't that scary... XD ) says some sort of boring introduction before getting to the point.
"I'm sure your all wondering why your here." He said.
"That is one of the many questions I've asked myself today- so tell me, why are we here Yoru?" Bill asks in an annoyed tone. (FUN FACT: Yoru translates to "Night" in Japanese! XD )
"Because I need her to do something." He said, pointing at Amanda. I glared at him.
"And- what exactly does she need to do?" I ask angrily.
"You all know our biggest rival, the demon known as NightShade.
"Yeah-yeah, we know him- get to the point." Bill says angrily.
"Him and his followers have agreed to make a peace treaty with us- except..." Yoru continued.
"Except... What?" I ask, narrowing my eyes at him."Except she needs to do something in order for the treaty to commence." He says, pointing to Amanda, who seems to be lost in thought.
"And- what- exactly, does she need to do?" Bill growled, standing up.
"An arranged marri-"
"Don't even TRY to finish that sentence!" Bill yelled. "You can't make her do that!"
"I can if its the right thing!" Yoru yelled.
"You can't!" I yelled angrily. Amanda looks at me, tugging on my sleeve.
"Can't what?" She whispers.
"Weren't you listening at all?" I whisper back, giving her a confused look.
"No I wasn't- what was he saying?" She asks, but Yoru cuts her off.
"Look- will you do it or not?" He asks, obviously impatient. Amanda starts to stutter and I glare at Yoru,
"You can't seriously expect her to make a choice between her family and-" I began, but I was cut off by Amanda.
"I'll do it." She says, staring at Yoru with the most serious face she possibly could.
"What?!" Me and Bill yell at the same time.
"You heard me- I said I'll do it, he said its for the good of the planet, right?" She asked. 'how does she know? She was spaced out that whole time!'
-----Amanda's POV----
"I- I- Umm- I'll-" I say, continuing to stutter. William begins to talk, but I'm more focused on the black triangle illuminating on my wrist, I get a strange feeling as a dark aura surrounds the mark and I feel as if I'm being bushed out of my own body and I hear myself talk, as the world around me fades into nothing.
"I'll do it." I hear myself say, but strangely, I don't have any control over my voice. I look around in the darkness that surrounds me, wondering whats going on.
"What?!" I hear my brother and Bill yell.
"You heard me- I said I'll do it, he said its for the good of the planet, right?" I hear myself say, and listen to the sound of my father and my brother yelling random things.
"Well you heard the girl-!" My "Grandfather" yells and I feel a hand clamp down on my forearm and the world around me returns. 'What did I just do?!' I thought to myself.
William stands up angrily and stomps towards me and my grandfather, when suddenly the door opens. I can't see who opened it- but theres a hint on who it is that my grandfather gives me in the next few seconds.
"Ohh there he is! Amanda- meet your new fiance!" He says. I look behind him to see who it is.
No....
---William's POV---

--Bill's POV---

--Will's POV---
She's doomed...
--Amanda's POV---
As the boy walks up to me, I recognize him instantly.
"Well hello there." He says. "It's nice to see you again,
Demon girl."
