Thirst

Thunderstorms are crashing in National City. Lucy is covered from head to toe in rain water when she walks into the coffee shop she puts her umbrella in the holder near the door "good morning Kara" as Lucy looked around she didn't see Kara "sorry kara isn't in right now, she's busy dealing with family" Lucy felt a little disappointed but still ordered her usual coffee "would you like me to tell Kara you were looking for her?" Lucy opened the door for the Hero to get on with her investigation "it shouldn't take long I just have to get some witnesses if there's any and collect as much evidence as possible" Lucy smiled "I'll leave you to it then" Lucy walked into her office her heart is beating so quickly her throat is itching for blood, her teeth are slowly starting to show a bit "fuck not now.." as Lucy grabs a bottle of "medicine" but it's just pills full of liquid blood to get her through the day until the next feed Lucy took two just to curve the craving of this Hero within minutes she felt better her body relaxed her throat stopped hurting and her teeth didn't hurt anymore Lucy sighed in relief that was a close one she started noticing she's becoming more thirsty and isn't sure what's going on besides the new woman in town giving her sexual tension.

Supergirl knocks on Lucy's door, Lucy didn't look up at first so lost into her work, Supergirl knocked again almost cracking the frame "oh hi I'm so sorry come in" Lucy smiles at the Hero "my indications is we have definitely have a vampire on the loose in your  business if you know any odd behavior just let me know here's my card in case you need to get ahold of me" Lucy nodded "oh that's scary, mmm I'll definitely keep my eye out for sure and let you know" Supergirl broke character again and smiled "great I'll leap myself out of here" Lucy laughed "up up and away right?" Supergirl burst out laughing "yeah something like that" before Lucy knew it she was alone goddamn her body is mmm Lucy said to herself not caring if she could become the next targeted killer

Lucy finished out her day at work she was heading towards her car before she saw him "you need to be careful where you leave your food you're going to get us killed" Lucy turned around after seeing his reflection from her car window "relax William it was all part of the game he was abusing my employees I had to get rid of him" William rolled his eyes and placed his arm on the roof of the car and pushed Lucy against the car "everyone is abusing someone" as William started kissing Lucy and pulled her body against him "but please be careful I don't need to loose you to that SuperHero bullshit" Lucy pulled away gentle from William grasps "she won't find out I promise" William disappeared leaving Lucy to just get in her car and head home. She head home in silence her thirst came back even worse this time fuck as her eyes become blurry she couldn't see the road anymore her eyes start to change before she could correct the car it was already diving into the lake, Lucy was trapped in the car bringing water in fast as she struggles to take off her belt in a panic she finds her knife and cuts the belt off clean breaks the glass and swim up top and finds a way to get to ground, she slowly pulled herself onto the side of the shore freezing this needs to stop as she murmurs to herself her body is aching for the taste of blood she sees a man walk up to her "hey I saw the accident are you okay?" Lucy shook her head yes trying to allure him away from her "it's okay help is on the way okay? I'll go guide them here" Lucy saw the man run to help guide paramedics in look I'm fine not even a scratch as Lucy tried to explain to the paramedics "are you denying medical treatment" Lucy shook her head "yes I'm fine I promise" the paramedics helped her up to her feet "the sheriff can give you a ride home"  Lucy shook her head "it's okay my brother will be here shortly" the paramedics walked away and the sheriff waited for Lex to arrive "Lucy hey what happened are you okay?" Lex could see the pain in her eyes from thirst and didn't push further "alright let's get you home".

Lucy barged into her room grabbing dry clothes as her body shakes from the cold water, she gets into the shower she suddenly has this intense headache that won't stop please stop as Lucy gets out of the shower she sees her maid left her glass full of blood ready to be consumed thank goodness as she takes the glass and basically swallows the whole glass in minutes. Her body starts to turn back to the usual color, her eyes fade slowly to her green emerald eyes and everything comes to a complete stop. Lex walked in "hey you doing okay? This is the first time I've seen you struggle with your thirst" Lucy nodded "I'll be fine thanks for asking we may have to ask Alfred for more pills to take with me besides the ones in my office" Lex agreed and kissed his sisters forehead and left the room.
