Lucy woke up with the Kara wrapped around her, she gently looks around the room glances at the sun creeps through she sees her dress on the floor she can feel Kara's weight on her a bit and can tell she's still asleep. Lucy gets ready to shift when she feels Kara stir a bit from her phone buzzing off of the nightstand "hello.. yeah no yeah I'll be there soon" Kara stretches herself and kisses Lucy on her arm and gets up slowly to not disturb the sleeping beauty.
She quickly gets to the bathroom and starts her shower. Lucy slowly opens her eyes and see the light through the door as she can hear Kara sing to herself Lucy has a small smile listening along she finally gets up her hair is definitely a mess but doesn't care and grabs her bra to put it back on and put her panties back on, as she slowly gets herself together for the day "hey" Lucy already heard Kara walking in "good morning beautiful" Kara headed over and kissed Lucy's head "I have to meet my sister I'll see you later? The door will lock on its own" Lucy nodded and was left alone in Kara's apartment, she looks around once further only to see a picture of her and her sister in a photo on her nightstand and saw the watch letting her know it's going to be a long morning at work.

Lucy heads into work with her emergency clothes on a basic button up with black slacks and the heels she wore last night "Miss Westenra, we have some news on the waterfront" Lucy carried on her walk to the boardroom "send the men in so we can discuss this together join us?" The young lady comes back with a portfolio "here you are and sure". The men gathered around the table as Lucy taps her pin against the table "alright so we are short by 100 thousand dollars on the waterfront" one of the men finally spoke "National City Council decided to go with a cheaper option" Lucy looked at him "and does the council understand that going cheap means things break?" the man nodded "they do but didn't want to do business with us because of the rumors" Lucy put her pin down "what rumors?" The men looked at each other "that we have someone killing our coworker and it has put a bad taste in the council mouths" Lucy huffed "nonsense the investigation is dealt with, alright fuck it, give me the council number by the end of today" the man nodded and jotted it down, the meeting was over quickly after the rest of it had to do with capital and what the business could offer on upgrading the children's hospitals since that was approved.

Lucy finally gets a text from Kara

Kara: hey I'm sorry for the late text message but I hope work is going great I've been busy at the coffee shop if you want to come by I can get you your coffee ready

Lucy stares at the text message blushing a bit

Lucy: I'll be on my way there shortly just have to finish some things up here then I can go on my lunch

Lucy gets ready to leave for the coffee shop, she double checks her emails and silences her office phone, she heads towards the elevator and taps on the down button waiting patiently "she will find out who you are" Lucy turned to see no body is around her as she walked into the elevator "she'll resent you" Lucy looked around and finally saw him. The man that changed her life forever "get out and leave me alone" the man smiled in the mirror and walked out of her view before speaking again "you know you were a feisty woman then and still are" Lucy rolled her eyes as the elevator opened up to the ground floor walking to the coffee shop

Kara filled her coffee mug with Lucy's favorite drink "hey beautiful here you go this will help you wake up after last night" as Kara leaned into Lucy and kissed her softly and handed her the warm mug "I should make love to you more often if I'm going to get spoiled with coffee" Lucy smiled and walked to their table while Kara is on her lunch as well "oh I suppose hey I have a question" Lucy glanced at Kara with her eyebrow raised waiting "I.. I noticed last night.. you bit me kind of hard and your eyes tinted to a yellow green" Lucy almost choked on her coffee "oh.. I um I.." Kara reached for Lucy's hand "you can tell me anything nothing will scare me away" Lucy removed her hand quickly as Lucy can feel her throat tingle with urge remembering biting Kara "I.. I have to go I'm sorry Kara" Lucy rushed out of the coffee shop trying to not get seen, Kara ran after her "Lucy.." as Kara frantically looked around the premises for Lucy fuck as Kara fixed her hair blowing in the wind as the rain starts to pour Lucy come back to me please as Kara shot straight up to skies scanning for her listening to the heartbeat that keeps her going but all she got was silence fuck
