Pippa: I was wondering where you were...

Markus: I needed to see the daylight...

Pippa: I like it here... I come here often... It's like being alone with the world. We freed hundreds of our people, and they're still coming from all over the city... Those who dream of freedom come to Jericho... Something's changing... You seem preoccupied...

Markus: They all obey me, they follow me without question... And that much power feels good... and scary at the same time...

Pippa: All the media are talking about what we did last night... The humans are terrified... They're afraid of a civil war... Many of our people were burned in response to what happened... The humans hate us... They'll never give us our freedom.

Markus: No, not all humans are the same. Some of them understand that they can't stop us from becoming free forever...

Pippa: You haven't said much about yourself since you've been with us... What was your life like before Jericho?

[PIPPA slight_increase]

Markus: I was caring for an old man... He was like a father to me... He showed me that humans and androids can live together...

[PIPPA slight_increase]

Markus: I was living in a bubble in this world that belonged only to me... When you're happy, it's... difficult to see other people's misery.

[PIPPA slight_increase]

Markus: What about you? You never told me about your past, what did you do before?

Pippa: I don't wanna talk about it.

[PIPPA slight_increase]

Markus: Pippa, we're fighting together. We have to know things about each other to trust each other.

[PIPPA slight_increase]

Markus: Why do you hate humans so much? There must be a reason...

Pippa: I told you I don't wanna talk about it...

[PIPPA slight_increase]

Markus: We all have something we wanna forget... but you need to know where you come from to know who you are.

Pippa: According to Kamski, I'm an Andriod. An RA900. But I grew up the same as a human so this is what I've been through. I grew up with an alright family. I had loving parents, an interesting house, and a couple of friends. But then my dad cheated on my mum and they separated. Almost immediately, my Stepmother moved in with her three daughters. And then she started to abuse me mentally and physically. When I was nine, I think my neighbors got suspicious as to why I was hesitant around her and called the police. Hank saved me, my stepmother and father went to jail, and I was all alone. Eventually, Hank came back and adopted me. Only recently did I find out I'm a discontinued Android Model. I guess there's a reason I've been helping you guys so much.

[PIPPA large_increase]

Pippa: I... I saw your memories... Carl's house... When they left you for dead in his studio...

Markus: I saw your memories too... your younger years... The arrest of your father and stepmother, I felt like I was there with you... Pippa!

North: This is suicide. We'll all be killed! Please, Markus... It's not too late to change your mind.

Josh: You don't understand... We're finally gonna show them who we really are. This place will go down in history!

North: We'll be killed on the spot!
