Amanda: Well done, Connor. You succeeded in locating Jericho and finding their leader. Now deal with Markus. We need it alive.
Connor: I've been ordered to take you alive, but I won't hesitate to shoot if you give me no choice.
[SOFTWARE INSTABILITY slight_increase]
Markus: What are you doing? You are one of us... You can't betray your own people...
Connor: You're coming with me!
[SOFTWARE INSTABILITY slight_increase]
Markus: You're nothing to them. You're just a tool they use to do their dirty work. But you're more than that. We are all more than that.

Markus: We are your people. We're fighting for your freedom too! You don't have to be their slave anymore...

Markus: Our cause is righteous, and we are more than what they say. All we want is to live in freedom.
Connor stays silent.

Markus: Do you never have any doubts? You've never done something irrational, as if there's something inside you?.. Something more than your program.

Markus: Have you never wondered who you really are? Whether you're just a machine executing a program or... A living being... Capable of reason. I think the time has come for you to ask yourself that question.

Markus: You really don't have to do this. You don't have to obey them anymore. You are alive... You can decide who you want to be. You could be free. It's time to decide. But not yet. There's someone here that can help more than me.
Maddie starts humming from inside Jericho. Connor hears it and starts searching for the voice.
'Every inch of me is trembling but not from the cold. Something is familiar like a dream I can reach but not quite hold. I can sense you there like a friend I've always known. I'm arriving and it feels like I am home,' Connor sang, 'I have always been a fortress, cold secrets deep inside. You have secrets, too but you don't have to hide. Show yourself. I'm dying to meet you. Show yourself. It's your turn. Are you the one I've been looking for all of my life? Show yourself. I'm ready to learn.'
Connor vocalized and Maddie did it back. She knew where she needed to go.
'I've never felt so certain,' Maddie ran around the ship, 'All my life I've been torn but I'm here for a reason. Could it be the reason I was born? I have always been so different. Normal rules did not apply Is this the day? Are you the way? I finally find out why! Show yourself!'
Maddie opened some doors of the ship, 'I'm no longer trembling! Here I am. I've come so far. You are the answer I've waited for all of my life! Oh, show yourself! Let me see who you are.'
Maddie was just outside the doors that lead to the top of the ship. This was it. She was going to meet the voice in her head.
'Come to me now,' Connor begged, 'Open your door. Don't make me wait one moment more.'
Maddie ran in and to the top of the ship, 'Come to me now! Open your door! Don't make me wait...'
'One moment more.' they both said.
Connor looked at the bow to see Maddie, standing there in the middle. The voice has been with him the entire time!
"Maddie! Up here!" Connor called from the crow's nest.
Maddie looked up and realized the exact same thing.
Now they knew why their voices and songs sounded familiar. They never mentioned that because they thought it was just a coincidence. They vocalized to make sure. It was the same. They were soulmates!
'Come, my darling, homeward bound,' Maddie said
'I am Deviant!' Connor said smiling.
'Show yourself! Step into the power! Grow yourself into something new! You are the one I've been waiting for-' the two said.
'All of my life,' Connor said smiling.
'All of my life,' Maddie said smiling
'Oh, show yourself!' they said.
They started to vocalize their little call before stopping. They smiled at each other. Connor ran down to Maddie and kissed her and she kissed back.
"I love you, Maddie." Said Connor. "I love you too, Connor." Said Maddie.
Markus and Pippa watched and they congratulated the new couple.

Connor: They're going to attack Jericho...
Markus: What?..
