MIKAYLA RAMSEY was a kook on the surface, yet a pogue at heart. That's how it always had been.

Her dad, Paul Ramsey, was constantly away for business trips, therefore, in the meantime she lived with her stepmom; Rebecca, and brother; Cory.

Rebecca didn't like the idea of Mikayla hanging out with a group of 'thuggish' pogues, so, she sent her off to live with her uncle for a few months in hopes that it would make her realize how shitty the 'pogue lifestyle' really was.

Mikayla had never known her biological mother. Her dad always shut her off whenever she got too curious. Paul didn't care that none of his time was spent with his own daughter, Mikayla knew that. So did he, yet would never admit it.

"JJ!" MIKAYLA YELLED, jogging over toward the shaggy haired boy who appeared to be offering people beers, two red solo cups in his hands.

He spun around, searching for the source of whome had called his name only moments ago.

"Kay?" His jaw dropped to the floor, along with the beers he held. Liquor sinking into the sand.

JJ stood in place for a few seconds, in utter shock and disbelief as he began examining Mikayla's features. Her appearance was just as incredible as he had remembered these past months.

She had the same gorgeously blonde colored hair that flowed down to her breasts, lashes that were so long they almost reached her brows, which complimented her dazzling ocean blue eyes perfectly. Her lips were naturally plumped, one of her most admirable features all the other girls envied over.

She wore the most gorgeous lavender colored bikini paired with her favorite denim shorts that fit her just as wonderfully.

After what felt like years, an uncontrollable grin began forming on JJ's lips as he ran up to Mikayla, causing many surrounding heads to turn. His hands gripped her waist as he tackled her down onto the soft, warm sand.

"Ouch!" She let out a giggle, wrapping her arms around him as he lay ontop of her, taking his time to allow her scent to bring back old memories.

"I still haven't taken this shit off." He laughed, bringing his arm from around her, gesturing to the red bracelet that she gave him months back.

Mikayla laughed once more, looking him in the eyes, their faces only inches apart. A smile spread across her lips, that she attempted to dismiss.

"I thought I wouldn't see you ever again." JJ buried his head into her neck, pulling her back into an even tighter hug.

"It's only been a few months, JJ." She pulled away, laughing, just as John. B ran up behind them.

"JJ, What the fuck are you-" He paused in realisation, just as shocked as JJ was barely even a minute ago when he saw the same familiar girl for the first time in 3 months.

Mikayla caught up with the group, explaining that she was stuck with her uncle on the mainland because of her idiotic stepmother.

She turned down multiple beers from the boys, she was used to not having any alcohol now, although, she eventually insisted as when had she ever really said no to a drink?

By the time the sun had fully set, everyone began leaving, Mikayla informing the group she was going to head off back home soon.

She still stuck around for a while though, all the gossip that had been thrown at her became exhausting, yet kept her hooked.
