Underneath the Demons Skin: Chapter one

 For encouraging me to never give up on writing even though I don't know you anymore you were the best friend I could ask for when I was just a tiny little kid thanks Emmy!

Underneath the Demons Skin

Chapter One

I want a "Kit kat bar." I thought to myself as I walked down the famed (but annoying) bricked street. Seriously who thought of bricked streets? I mean get real it's not like it's easier on the feet and theirs already cracks in it so why bother? Concrete is a whole lot better (and flatter) I mentioned as I fell on my face infront of a weird alley.

A couple stood there, the girl was pretty she had a pixie shaped face with cheek bones I would kill for, she had large kid like eyes that were a peridot green and a cute button nose with flushed cheeks, her hair waved down her face seeming to curl at just the right spots it was a shade of golden blonde with a cute updo to top it off, I grinded my teeth and looked down at my plain slightly wavy dirt brown hair,

Chases voice popped up in my head "Not dirt but chocolate yummy delicous chocolate hair that I could eat up I remember a shrill giggle coming from mee as he pulled a strand of hair and bit into it "Hmm yummy maybe I should eat more." I giggled and pulled the hair away from him, "NO I'll be bald if you eat anymore I said with a smile in my voice with that we began a game of 'catch me if you can.'  I smiled at the memory of it "Oh how I miss Chase!" I said out loud with a sigh

My mind went to the chocolate part "Oh yeah I was looking for a candy shop!" The couple jumped back Sh...Crap did I say that out loud? "Bloody he..." I said almost but stopped myself. The boy who I once hadn't seen glared at me. I gaped, I had saw that face somewhere, but where? I growned and before I went into a spazz attack, skipped off to find me some chocolate.

A few minutes latter. I walked into a random store it was pretty organized shelfs of food and toileties lined the shelfs the only thing strange about it was that the place was empty! "Oh yeah school's going on...dummy!" I said as I hit my forhead with the palm of my hand.

A plump woman behing the cash register stared at me like I was off my knocker, who new I might just be! I smiled up at the cashier, she gave me a confuzzed look. I walked my way over to her, a fake smile pasted on my face. 

"Yelo!" I said jokingly. The cashier stared. I thought for why I came in here, the word chocolate ran through my mind. "Umm... Do you happen to have chocolate here?" I asked, sincerly. The woman looked at me as if I were growing another head, I felt my neck just to be sure. (Phew the move wasn't affecting my cells yet!) Finally the lady spoke but it wasn't what I hoped! "You're not from here are you?" She stated more of a thought that a question.

(NO DUH!!! I mean seriously, I mean doesn't my sun tanned skin and freckles give it away, It's not like I could in any possibly way ever get a tan from here in this weather.) I thought as I looked out the store window (Just as I presummed raining!) I smiled pleasently. "No I'm not!" I almost added how'd you guess? but then I remembered never make the person you're buying candy from angry!

I smiled and then the cashier woman smiled back sweetly "Sorry, it's just that...that accent of your's is just to thick for the british!"

I smiled nowingly. I had heard enough british people to tell me that, that it was just the phrase that might just start a fight. I smiled again (Thank the lord I didn't grow up in LONDON. I'd be talking about morning's like "In the wee hours of the day!" It'd be dreadful.
