Forbidden Love

The problem is serious....

Izuku's POV:

It was right after my own personal guard went away that my mother send everyone out of the room so it was only her and me there. I knew that it was something serious if she sent every pair of ears and eyes away. Needless to say that this alarmed me in not a good way at all.

Me: Mother, is something wrong?

Inko: Izuku, I will be honest with you and I expect you to be honest with me as well.

Me: Always mother.

Inko: What did you tell princess Hana.

Me: That I already loved another person and that our fute will not bing her happiness.

Inko: Did you tell her about Katsuki?

Me: You knew?

Inko: Of course I know what is going on in my very own castle.

Me: Since when?

Inko: The moment he came begging to be your guard and insisted that it was you asking for it. He was quite the clumsy child back then as well.

Me: Oh....

Inko: Don't worry. I don't have anything against you two being together but with princess Hana this will be quite complicated.

Me: I know. I tried to talk to her.

Inko: I assumed that might be the case. This is why I sent Katsuki after you two in case she would do something to you.

Me: What do you mean?

Inko: Izu... you know how I am a water dragon. She is an earth dragon. They are the greediest dragon they are. Of course I knew what she wanted the moment she blushed that obvious when she saw you.

Me: *sigh*

Inko: Look. I know this is not the best but I can't do anything against the marriage.

Me: I know this is why I tried talking but she started threaten me with Kacchans life that he would be dealt with and I couldn't help it and threatened her back...

Inko: I see and I understand what happened now.

Me: What did she say for you to call me here?

Inko: She just told me that she knew that you have a lover and she didn't care about it and wished to go through with the wedding. I assumed that this might be the case.

Me: ...

Inko: Izu my dear. You have to be careful around her. She can be dangerous.

Me: Mom, I can be dangerous as well.

Inko: I know... follow me.

My mother said that as she opened the doors to the balcony. We always had some way out of a room in case we had to flee as dragons. My mother was a water dragon and while she may not fly for long distances, she also didn't have to since our palace was build on a cliff with a forest to the side. The rooms balcony was right above the cliff and when she opened the doors, she went for the jump transforming into a dragon while I followed her as a slender green dragon.

Once she got in the water, she sped up, matching my speed for a while but in reality I was matching my speed to her and followed her for a while till we got to a small little island. I knew that it was abandoned but part of our kingdom as well as not noted down in any kind of map. There she came out of the water and shook her self where I landed right next to her.

Me: ROAR!

Inko: AROOOO!!!!

Me: HMPF!

She came towards me and then we kinda snuggled up for a while. I knew that my mother wanted to be alone with me for a while to just spend some time with her son not as a queen but as a mother. This was how we usually did it in from as dragons. Flying around, playing, snuggling as well as nuzzling each other.

Sooner or later we got back to the palace after we had enough and she transformed back while I stayed as a dragon on the balcony.

Mother: Izuku... I really love you and I want nothing more than your happiness. I just wish we were not royalty... our future is quite grim...

Me: ROARRRR!!!!

Mother: I know you are strong. I have faith in you and I trust you to know what is good for you as well as our kingdom... now go. Fly to your heart's content and come back home after you get your mind clear.

She was my mother, what should I say else. She knew me the best and she also knew that the reason I got away immediately and hid myself was to think about everything that would come next. Being close to water was calming but being up in the air was calming as well.

So when she told me to go, I didn't need to hear that twice and immediately jumped into the air flying above the castle high up into the sky and away from the castle, my home towards the town where I could see the houses as and the dragons being happy.

Me: RROOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!

I can't break their happiness!

I can't break this peace!

We worked soo hard to achieve this!

I can't destroy millions of live just because of my own.....

I will go through that marriage....

This might be for the better but I will never love anyone else than you Kacchan!

Just like that I flew close to the houses so that everyone could see me and I could hear the people whisper and cheering me on. They all knew that the green scales were belonging to the heir of their kingdom, their future and their hopeful and promising fute. There was just soo much weight on my shoulder that I couldn't ignore it.

This was also the reason I decided to spend the night sleeping in our small garten which may or may not look like a forrest to others. It would however at least calm my mind down.
