Chapter 33

L.A. Airport

I took a deep breath and held Mateus's hand, as we waited for Joe and Jonathan.

"Are you excited to see them again?" Mateus asked.

"I am!" I said.

After five minutes, we saw them both walking around looking for me.

"Over here!" I said, waving my arm.

Jonathan and Joe started running towards me and they did a tight hug around me.

"Renee we missed you so much!" Joe said.

"I missed you guys too, but can you let go?" I asked.

"Sorry... so what did you want to tell us in person, Renee?" Jon asked.

"Well, first of all, hi there Jonathan Good and Joe A'noai... I'm Mateus Ward." Mateus said.

"Yea yea, Mateus boy we know you, now back to my question, Renee?" Jon said.

I sighed. "I'll tell you about it when we have a nice cup of whatever drink you want!"

"Fine by me! I'm thirsty." Joe said.

Mateus chuckled. "I can take your guys' bags and you can pick them up at our house after you're done chatting." He said.

"That'll be nice, thanks." Joe clasped his back.

"Oof! Your welcome." He said, and we walked off.

I looked back and he mouthed out the word 'ow.' I couldn't help but laugh.

"So why are you out of commission for 11 months?" Joe asked, taking a sip of coffee.

I took a deep breath and took a bite out of a brownie.

"Well Joe and Jonathan.... I-I'm pregnant."

"WHAT!?" They both said.

I nodded and they looked down at my stomach.

"H-How far are you?" Jon asked.

"Almost 3 weeks." I said.

"So this is what Colby was hiding from us!? You're pregnant!" Joe said.

I nodded again.

"We're going to be uncles man!" Jon said.

Joe smiled. "Is it a boy or girl?"

"Too early to tell the gender yet."

"I'm just so excited and happy for you!"

"If it's a boy, you better name it after me, Renee!" Jon said, smiling.

I bit my lip and nodded.

"When are you doing an ultrasound?" Joe asked.

"I believe soon."

They smiled.

"Why don't we go pay off the bill and I can show you guys more around Los Angeles, sound good?" I asked.

"It has been a while since I was here." Jon said.

We paid for our snacks and went to look around L.A..

"Oh my god, guys! We have to go back!" I said.

"But I want more Twinkies!" Jon complained.

I facepalmed.

About 10 minutes ago, Jon bought like 15 Twinkies at this small stand in a fair Los Angeles was having.

"Well who's fault is it for eating them all!?" Joe said, eating one he bought.

He glared at him. "Don't start with me, Mr. A'noai!"

I chuckled and called Mateus.

"Hello?" He answered, panting.

"Hey babe, are you okay?" I asked.

"Y-Yeah, I was just doing some e-exercise. What's wrong?"

"Well Mateus I thought- Jonathan Good get yourself off of Joe this minute!"

"What?"

"Sorry, where was I? Oh yeah! I was wondering if the guys could have dinner with us." I said.

"Well Renee..."

I looked up and immediately tried getting Jon off of Joe, before he stole his Twinkies.

"Sorry Mateus, what was that?"

"I'm busy at the moment, but why don't you ask them if they want to go somewhere out in L.A.?"

I sighed. "Alright, see you later, babe."

"Bye, I love you." He said.

"Me too." I said and hung up.

"Renee I'm hungry!" Jon said.

"But you just ate 15 Twinkies! How are you still hungry?" I asked.

"I'm a growing man! I need food!" He said.

"Well where do you want to go?"

"Something not fancy." Joe said.

"How about Johnny Rockets?" I asked.

"Sounds good to me!" Jon said.

I smiled.

"Let's go there then. We're hungry too!" I said, rubbing my stomach.

We went to have an amazing dinner and when they left me at my apartment, they went to the hotel they were staying in.

I sighed.

I just wish we could do this more often.
