Chapter 18

TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs

I was siting in a chair waiting for my match, with my stomach in pain. "Hey Baby Girl." I looked up and found my dad. "Hey daddy." I hugged him, but he hugged too tight which caused me to wince. "Sorry Baby Girl!" He let go. "Excited for your match?" He asked. "Super excited!" I said. I heard a knock on my door. "Come in." The door opened and I found the doctor. "Hey Renee, I came to check on you really quick before you had your match, can I look?" He asked. "Sure go ahead." He took my bandages off and checked. "Does it hurt here?" He touched the right side of my rib cage, I cringed. "A little..." "How about here?" He touched the left side, I cringed more. "It hurts on the left side more than the right." I said, in pain. The doctor and Dad had worried looks on their faces. "Renee, are you sure you want to wrestle tonight?" The doctor asked. "Yes! This match means everything to me!" I said and cringed. "But Renee, if you wrestle and Joe spears you again... he could damage your ribcage very badly." Dad said. "I don't care! I'm wrestling either you two like it or not!" I shouted. "At least let me heavily wrap-" "No! Don't... Don't bandage the ribs, it could be a big target to them."

"Okay Renee... whatever you say." The Doctor said.

The Shield vs Diana Ross

My music started playing as I walked out and the fans cheered like crazy. I smiled as I got into the ring and stood on the second rope pointing out at the fans. All of the sudden I hear:

"SIERRA. HOTEL. INDIA. ECHO. LIMA. DELTA. SHIELD!"

I saw the Shield coming down the stairs as people were booing and cheering. I glared at them and took a few steps away from them as they entered into the ring. The bell rang as Dean and I started the match, while Roman and Seth stood outside of the ring in their corner. I was pushed to a corner as Dean punched me in the ribs. I knew my face showed a lot of pain because he kept on punching. He ran back to the corner across and ran back to hit me in the stomach. I moved out of the way in a nick of time as Dean hit his shoulder against the post. His face showed a lot of pain as I stayed there laying on the mat. C'mon Diana get up! I got up just as Dean made a tag to Seth. Damn it! I wasn't fast enough! I kicked Seth in the ribs and pulled him by his hair and sat on the third rope and gave him a Tornado DDT.

I layed there in pain and pinned him, but kicked out at 2. Seth tagged Dean back in and he pulled me by my hair and gave me the Victimizer. The referee asked me if I was going to tap out, but I yelled no. I tried reaching for the third rope and did the ref told Dean to let go and he did, then he tagged Roman in. Crap! I'm so done for. Roman punched me and gave me the Samoan Drop. He turned around to pick me up, but I pinned him quickly and he kicked out. I got up and gave him a Neckbreaker. I went to the top rope and gave him the "Diving Hurricanrana". I pinned him again but he kicked out. I got up, pulled him by the hair and did "Painful Trap". I went to the third rope and did the" Dianassault". I pinned him and Dean interfered. I got up and yelled at him. Just as I turned around I got Superman Punched right in the jaw.

I saw Roman tag in Seth and Seth tag in Dean. They surrounded me and pulled me up. I punched Seth and he rolled out of the ring. Dean held me as Roman prepared for a spear. He started running and I moved out out of the way as he speared Ambrose. This is my chance! I closelined Roman out of the ring and quickly pinned Dean. "1-2-3!" Everyone yelled and the bell rang. I won! I won my match against the Shield! I quickly ran out of the ring and stood far away as the Shield glared at me.

"Ladies and gentleman your winner Diana Ross!" The ring announcer said.

"You snooze you lose!" I yelled.

I went backstage, but I felt uncomfortable.

No! Is it possible.....

that I want to join the Shield?
