Three weeks later:Friday night before WWE Hall of Fame ceremony
"Guys, let's go to a karaoke bar, so I can show off my singing skills!" Jonathan said.
We all laughed.
"Jon, you're mistaken. Renee here has the best singing skills, not you!" Colby said.
"Colby's right Jon." Joe said.
"Eh, I guess I have to agree with you two." He said.
"Stop it guys! I'm not that good! Well maybe a little but not a lot." I said.
"Are you kidding me Renee!? You're the best singer we ever known! You deserve to be a singer not a professional wrestler!" Joe said.
"I can't! I mean I'm not creative at writing songs! I'm only creative in making wrestling moves."
"True, true." Colby said, nodding.
We went inside a karaoke club and all sat at a table. Turns out our WWE Companions wanted to have some fun before the big festivities tomorrow.
Some of the Divas were dancing with the Superstars, having a blast.
The guys ordered beers and I just had a piña colada. Colby, Joe, and Jonathan got up and started to dance.
I couldn't help but smile and laugh at their dancing. When all of the sudden the DJ announced the worst news of all my life.
"All right ladies and gentlemen! Now it's karaoke time and as a small nice gift... whoever gets up here to sing has the choice of whatever song they want! Sound cool?"
Everyone cheered.
"And you know what let's have a lady sing this time since we had enough men singing tonight."
"Aww shit." I muttered to myself.
"How about you nice chick over there with a black sequined tank top on!" The DJ said.
I squinted. God damnit! He was talking to me. I quickly shook my head, panic taking over me.
"C'mon don't be shy!"
I was suddenly pulled out of my seat by Colby and Joe and pushed onto the small stage.
Everyone cheered for me, trying to make me comfortable.
"What's your name sweetheart?" The DJ asked.
"M-My name is Diana Ross." I stammered.
"Well what do you know we have a WWE Superstar with us! Now which song would you like?"
I looked around and suddenly met Jon's eyes and took a deep breath.
"I would like 'On the Floor' by Jennifer Lopez." I said.
The DJ nodded and started playing the song.
"Let me introduce you to my party people in the cluuub..." I started singing.
Everyone was dancing, enjoying my singing and kept on till the end.
"La la la la la, la la la la la la la la la.... tonight we gon be it on the floor!" I finished.
Everyone cheered like crazy and chanted for one more.
"Next let's do 'Glad You Came' by The Wanted and then 'Chasing the Sun' to end it off, 'kay?"
Everyone cheered, agreeing with my choices.
I smiled and started singing.
"The sun goes down, the lights come out, my universe will never be the same.... I'm glad you came..."
And kept on till the end, then sang "Chasing the Sun."
After that everyone cheered and clapped for and I smiled getting off stage.
"Everyone give it up for Diana Ross!" The DJ said, and cheered more.
After dancing and being congratulated by people, the guys and I left for our hotel.
"Renee... you were fucking awesome!" Colby said.
"You said it Colby!" Joe said.
Jon nodded and I couldn't help but smile and blush.
"Thanks guys!" I said.
When we got to the hotel, we went to our rooms, and prepared for the big day tomorrow and Sunday.
What could go wrong?
